Each filter has a 400 litre capacity and is replaceable. Our EXTREME Filter removes the four basic zones of contamination: Aesthetic (Chlorine, taste and odour), Chemicals (from Industry and Agriculture), Dissolved Solids (90% of Fluoride, 99.99% of heavy metals such as lead, mercury, Chromium 6), and Biologicals (Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E-Coli Bacteria), but also includes a special filtering component that removes up to 99.99% of Radiological Contaminants such as Gross Beta, Radon 222, Radium 226, Plutonium, Uranium, Cesium 137 and Radioactive Iodine 131. It also includes a special Advanced iodinated resin barrier that protects against waterborne diseases (viruses and diseases to 99.99%).
You can use our EXTREME Filter with tap water, rivers, lakes, streams, any fresh water source.
With all Fill2Pure products there is no need to count the litres, our filters will not expire, but the flow will go slower and slower when it is time to change the filter.
