Competition Conditions
Write a fictitious story about how you became and instant millionaire. Did you win the lotto, find hidden treasure, receive a reward or become a YouTube singing sensation? That’s up to you to decide. Create a sensational story that is entertaining, engaging and funny.
You must have permission from your parents and/or legal guardians to enter the competition.
To enter you must be between 8 years old and 12 years old at the closing date of the competition.
Entry to the competition is open to Australian residents only.
Writers may only submit one entry each.
Only one author per story. (You have to write the story by yourself.)
All entries must be previously unpublished original works and must not have won prizes, contracts or cash in any other competition.
Stories that do not comply with the word limit will be deemed ineligible.
Stories must be typed in an easy to read font such as Arial or Times New Roman font.
Hand written stories will not be accepted.
Do not include illustrations with your story.
Entries will only be accepted with a fully completed entry form.
The author's name must not appear on the story.
The entries will be judged anonymously.
Copyright will remain the property of the author.
Manuscripts will not be returned. These requirements apply for emailed submissions as well.
Entries that fail to comply with all entry rules and requirements will be disqualified.
The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will be contacted through the email address or phone number provided.
We will not share your email, phone number, address or personal details with others.
