The Ipswich festive favourite, Mayor Paul Pisasale's Carols By Candlelight, presented by Sekisui House, returns to North Ipswich Reserve on Saturday December 10th and we’re giving you the chance to experience it in VIP style.

Our lucky winners can have their face painted on arrival and enjoy the drinks and nibbles we provide all while watching the Carols with one of the best views possible. Gates open at 5pm and this year's event offers free family entertainment, spectacular fireworks courtesy of IGA and the music of Troy Cassar-Daley, supported by Peter Combe and the 'Wash Your Face in Orange Juice' band. How to get there: Take the train to Ipswich Train Station and walk across the David Trumpy Bridge, head right onto The Terrace. Drive to the event – there is plenty of parking in the local area. Admission price: This is a FREE event. Food and drink:  A range of food will be available for sale; A range of drinks will be available for sale; This is an alcohol-free event; Public are at liberty to bring in their own food and drinks (no alcohol). Seating: Public seating is available in the Reserve Grandstand (approx 700) and on the grassed area (approx 10,000). Wet Weather: Stay tuned to River 94.9 FM for weather updates. General Information: Local residents, please ensure your pets are secured safely at home during the fireworks. Take them inside or make sure your yard is secure and their collar tag details are up to date.

Competition opens Monday November 21st and closes Friday December 2nd 2016. Please note, winners will receive an invite for their family via email. The family invite is valid for and caters for 2 adults and 2 children. No additional invites will be able to be obtained.
