The exhibition Circle, in partnership with Walker Books and Newcastle Museum, displays original works by celebrated author-artist Jeannie Baker from her new book Circle. The exhibition had launched at Sydney’s Maritime Museum in May 2016 and is now at Canberra Museum and Gallery (CMAG) until 12 February 2017 before traveling to other venues around Australia.

The much-anticipated Circle follows the migratory route of the Bar-tailed Godwit from Alaska to Australia and New Zealand, illustrated with Jeannie’s tactile, exquisitely detailed and textured collages she is famous for.

Visitors are welcome to collect a Circle family trail pack from CMAG’s front desk to take a closer look at Jeannie Baker’s work and imagine yourself a godwit flying high above the land as well as take part in many other hands-on children’s activities that are running during the exhibition.

CHILD Magazines is giving away two Circle prize packs, courtesy of Canberra Museum and Gallery and Walker Books. Each prize pack comprises of a signed copy of Jeannie Baker's Circle (RRP $27.99, June 2016) and a $20 café voucher to be redeemed at Canberra Museum and Gallery’s café. The café is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 3.30pm (closed on the weekends). The book and voucher will need to be picked up from the front desk during your visit until 12 February 2017, the final day of the exhibition. The entry to the exhibition is free of charge.

Entries close 16 January 2017. Winners will be notified via email within three days of the closing date (entrants are advised to check SPAM) and published on the website. If the winner cannot be contacted, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
