Brisbane folk: consider yourselves lucky, because you’re ideally located to get along to see Michelle Law’s play, Single Asian Female (which, just quietly, we’re nominating for best titled anything in 2017). A comedy about race and gender in contemporary Australia, Single Asian Female takes place after hours at a suburban Chinese restaurant on the Sunshine Coast, and features a cast of whip-smart ladies (who we’re pretty certain will have you cackling, given what we know of their creator; more than once, Michelle’s words in frankie have caused us to nearly soil ourselves).
