LANDCARE AUSTRALIA'S 2017 SUMMER RAFFLE!

The aim of Landcare Australia’s Summer Raffle is to raise funds to support Landcare community projects throughout Australia that could focus on habitat restoration, biodiversity or coastal recovery.   

This year, there remains hundreds of community projects around Australia that desperately need funding, and it’s only getting harder to raise money for these worthy projects.

Your support of Landcare Australia’s Summer Raffle will help us continue building capacity for our dedicated Landcare communities to improve management of our land and water assets that sustain us.

First prize:

The first prize winner will receive a trip for two to Queensland’s Sunshine Coast including five nights’ accommodation at the 5 star RACV Noosa resort", return economy flights from Virgin Australia*, airport transfers^ and $750 spending money. Total prize valued at $2,490.



Second prize is $400

Third prize is $200.

Terms and Conditions

By entering into the Landcare Australia Summer Raffle, you (Entrant) accept these terms and conditions.
The entity facilitating the draw is Landcare Australia Limited ACN 63 008 656 513 at Level 3, 6 Help Street, CHATSWOOD NSW 2067.
The name of the raffle is ‘Landcare Australia’s Summer Raffle’.
Tickets will be sold in all states of Australia (with the exception of Western Australia).
Entry is open to residents of Australia excluding employees and board members of Landcare Australia. All persons under the age of 18 are strongly encouraged to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian prior to entering the competition.
Entry into the raffle costs:
1 ticket for $5
3 tickets for $13
5 tickets for $20
15 tickets for $50
40 tickets for $100
100 tickets for $200
A person may enter the competition on more than one occasion in accordance with the procedure specified in these terms and conditions, although Landcare Australia reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse to accept any single entry.
To enter and be eligible to win, entrants must purchase a ticket online or through a Landcare community group.
Raffle tickets sold through the Landcare community group will help support their local groups, with 15% of the funds raised going back to Landcare Australia to cover administration costs of running this raffle.
The raffle will open officially at 9.00am (AEST) on the 1 December 2016 and close at 5.00pm (AEST) on Tuesday 21 March 2017.
The prize will be drawn at 10am (AEST) on Wednesday 22 March 2017 in the Landcare Australia office, Level 3, 6 Help Street, CHATSWOOD NSW 2067.
This raffle is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
The retails value of the prize is 10% of the total funds raised in the game. The total cost of first prize is $2,490 which includes a five-night trip for two to the five-star RACV Resort in Noosa, Queensland with roundtrip economy flights by Virgin Australia, airport transfers, and spending money. Second prize is $400 cash and third prize is $200 cash.
The winning ticket number will be published on Landcare Australia’s website and on social media.
Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash (if applicable).
Landcare Australia may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant without notice for providing false information, failing to comply with these terms and conditions or tampering with the entry process. Landcare Australia is not responsible for any technical difficulties which prevent an otherwise valid entry from being received by Landcare Australia.
Landcare Australia and the prize providers will not be liable for any loss or damage (however caused), suffered by the entrant in connection with these terms and conditions or the raffle. This also includes any loss or damage caused by the undertaking of the holiday.
The entrant is liable for and indemnifies Landcare Australia and the prize providers from and against any loss or damage (including legal costs) however caused, suffered or incurred by Landcare Australia and the prize providers in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any act or omission of the entrant.
All liability for government charges, expenses, taxes or any other tax or duty is the sole responsibility of each winner.
By entering into the raffle the entrant consents to Landcare Australia using, modifying and disclosing the entrant’s name, likeness, image or voice in any media, for an unlimited time without further reference, payment or any other compensation to the entrant for the promotion of any products or service of Landcare Australia, including the entrant electronic messages.
