How To Enter
Nominate someone you know who needs to break with their family, but who can’t afford to. Together, we’ll send them somewhere they can kick back & relax, enjoying fun and adventure together.
Thanks to our partners JC Travel Professionals, we’ll be sending 3 families to Fiji!
We’ll be flying them to the tropical haven to spend 7 days forgetting their worries and focusing on refreshing their bodies and souls. They’ll start their day with a delicious breakfast, then off to enjoy the rolling waves and vibrant culture of the Fijian island. Then live out their nights in luxurious four-star accommodation for 6 wonderful nights

GIVE THE BEST BREAK \\ Family Holiday Promotion with JC Travel
Promotional Partnership Agreement
HOLDIAY GIVEAWAY MECHANIC
Core message of this promotion is to ‘Pay it forward’, and will centre around listeners having the
opportunity to nominate a family they know who needs a break, a tropical escape or just to know
someone cares.
All nominations / entries processed through a dedicated entry page on the Hope 103.2 website.
How to Enter
1. Applicants go to
www.hope1032.com.au2. Click a banner / story promoting the giveaway and get directed to a dedicated competition
page.
3. Complete the entry form.
Entry form will collect the name and contact details for the person submitting the entry
along with name and contact details for the family they are nominating. It will also include a
field to explain why this family needs to / deserve to WIN the family holiday.
4. Completed entry forms will be delivered to the Events & Promotion department of Hope
103.2. We will then collect details, and where appropriate contact the person submitting the
nomination to either set-up and interview or record the story for feature on air, as part of
the promotion, and to encourage more entries.
5. All entries will then go into a barrel ahead of the weekly draws.
How Winners will be Drawn
From the beginning of the win a family holiday promotion period, 5:00am, Mon 24th April 2017
through to the close of business, 5:30pm Friday 19th May 2017. All entries submitted via the Hope
103.2 website will be collected and put into a barrel from which a winner will be drawn on Friday 5th
,
Friday 12th and Friday 19th May 2017.
Breakfast with Laura & Duncan will announce a winner in the 8:00 hour on Monday 8th, Monday 15th
and Monday 22nd May 2017.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. ‘The Prize’ for the Give the Best Break competition is three family holiday’s (as outlined
below), one holiday will be award to a family each active week of the competition period 1
May 2017 – 22 May 2017.
The Prize is for:
2 adults and 2 children
Economy class return flights
Bed and breakfast accommodation in a 4-star property for 7 days and 6 nights
Special prize terms and conditions, as provided by the prize supplier JC Travel Professionals:
Bookings must be made 90 days prior to departure date
Travel dates cannot fall between 15th December, 2017 and 15th January 2018
Prize is non-transferable and/or redeemable for cash
Prize valid for 12 months only where travel must be completed within 1 year from
date of winner announcement
Bookings are subject to availability
Visas (if needed) are not included
Prize winners may choose to add tours, activities, extend their stay or increase the
number of travellers for an additional cost
2. Unless otherwise specified in special contest terms and conditions, no person may enter any
contest more than once, and no family can win a holiday in this competition more than once.
3. Unless otherwise specified in special contest terms and conditions, all prizes must be
collected within 90 days from the date of winning. After that time, unclaimed prizes will be
dealt with according to legislative requirements. It is the sole responsibility of winners to
collect their prize. Hope 103.2 will not notify winners of time remaining.
4. Competitions are not open to:
i. employees of Hope 103.2, their spouse, parent, natural or adopted children or siblings,
ii. contestants who have won a prize/prizes valued individually or collectively from Hope
103.2 in the last 28 days,
iii. contestants living outside the Greater Metropolitan Sydney area.
5. Prizes must be claimed in person unless winner is otherwise advised. Where Hope 103.2
elects to post a prize to a winner no responsibility will be accepted by Hope 103.2 for the
safe and effective postal delivery of the prize.
6. In the event that a winner chooses not to accept a prize, they forfeit any and all claims to
that prize, which will be dealt with according to the absolute discretion of Hope 103.2
subject to legislative requirements.
7. Prizes are non transferable and may not be redeemed for cash and must (where applicable)
be used on the dates specified. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winner, and
Hope 103.2 excludes all warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by
law.
8. In the event where a specified prize becomes unavailable, Hope 103.2 reserves the right to
offer the winner another item of equal value.
9. Hope 103.2, its agencies, affiliates, sponsors and representatives are not responsible for
defective prizes or misuse of any prize, or for any claims, liability, loss or damage arising out
of or in connection with any contest promoted by Hope 103.2.
10. All contestants release from, and indemnify Hope Media Limited (ACN 000 456 468) against,
all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in
any contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and
whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or
otherwise.
11. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Hope 103.2 to use winner’s name, suburb or
residence, recording of winner’s voice and likeness for advertising and promotional
purposes without compensation.
12. Hope 103.2 is not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or unavailable network
server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions or
other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
13. All entries by internet are sent entirely at the risk of the entrant. If there are any difficulties
arising out of the internet or any associated equipment Hope 103.2 may at its absolute
discretion disqualify the entire entry or any portion thereof.
14. Hope 103.2 may incorporate information from entrants in any contest(s) in any data base to
be used for the purpose of its business.
15. A failure by Hope 103.2 to enforce any of these General Contest Rules in any instance(s) will
not give rise to any claim by any person.
16. Current employees and former employees (since Friday, 29 April 2011) of Hope Media Ltd,
and any related entities and their immediate families (whether natural or adopted), and any
other companies or organisations and their immediate families (whether natural or adopted),
associated to the specific competition, are not eligible to enter the competition.
