River 94.9 and Ipswich Furniture Court have your opportunity to take part in the Track Skill V8 Ute Show at the 2017 Ipswich Show.  It will see lucky winners enter the race car as fast as possible, hang on for the ride of their life then jump out to help their team win. For your chance to secure your seat in a real Holden verse Ford relay race, keep listening to Marnie and Campo for Breakfast for when they roll out their ‘Laps of the Map’.  Each morning, they’ll be specifying whether they are doing laps in their Holden or doing laps in their Ford. This will encourage the correct fans to call through (either Holden or Ford fans). They will get two listeners on the phone at a time and will then reveal a different "lap of their map". For example, one day they might start at the Ipswich Showgrounds, travelling to the RAAF Base in Amberley, via Yamanto, then onto the Warrego, finishing back at Ipswich Showgrounds. The two listeners on the phone will have to go back and forth to guess how many kilometres their lap is that day. On air competitions Monday May 8th to Thursday May 18th 2017 (weekdays only). On air and online winners will each receive entry for themselves to the Ipswich Show for one (1) adult. Online winners will be notified by email/phone. All winners on air and online will need to be able to collect their prize letter and entry ticket from the River 94.9 office before 4.00pm on Thursday May 18th 2017. For each winner to claim their ride in their Ford or Holden, they will need to check in at the Ipswich Show Reception Office at the Ipswich Show at least one (1) hour before your allocated driving time. Anyone who is late or doesn’t turn up will forfeit their ride to someone from the crowd. Each winner must be over the age of 18. Each winner will be required to sign a waiver provided by Track Skill on the day of their ride prior to entering their Ford or Holden.
