WIN the ultimate food experience at the Gascoyne Food Festival in Carnarvon




We’re giving two lucky Perth residents the chance to escape the cold this August with the ultimate food experience at the Gascoyne Food Festival in Carnarvon! The prize includes:

    Return flights for two from Perth to Carnarvon with Skippers Aviation (10th – 13th August, 2017)
    Accomodation at the Best Western Hospitality Inn, Carnarvon for two nights
    2x Tickets to attend the BBQ on the Beach at Carnarvon Yacht Club on 10th August, 2017 (located right next to your accommodation)
    2x Tickets to attend the Long Table Lunch at Bentwaters Plantation on 11th August, 2017 (bus to collect and return from accommodation)
    Prize winners will have the option to attend the free Gascoyne Growers Market on 13th August, 2017 to buy some delicious goodies to bring home. Plus this year the festival coincides with the Carnarvon Races, which will be underway all afternoon on the 13th prior to the return flight to Perth.

    Instructions on how to enter form part of these terms and conditions. If there is any conflict between these terms and conditions and any other published material, these terms and conditions are to prevail.

    Participants in the competition will be deemed to abide by these conditions of entry.
    Participants agree to make themselves available for publicity purposes.
    The promoter may appoint judges and the judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
    Participation is open to residents of Perth, Western Australia who fulfill the participation requirements.

    Participants may only enter once. Additional entries will be deemed invalid.
    The prize components are:

    Return flights for two people from Perth to Carnarvon with Skippers Aviation (departing Perth on 10th August, 2017 and departing Carnarvon on 13th August, 2017).
    Two (2) nights’ accommodation Best Western Hospitality Inn, 6 West Street, Carnarvon WA 6701 for a maximum of two adults (18+) in a Standard Queen Room (1 queen bed and 1 single bed).
    2x Tickets to attend the BBQ on the Beach at Carnarvon Yacht Club on 10th August, 2017
    2x Tickets to attend the Long Table Lunch at Bentwaters Plantation on 11th August, 2017

    The prize package is for the dates as set and cannot be altered or redeemed for cash
    The flight component of the prize are at set times and are not able to be changed: PER to CVN Thurs 10th August @ 7.35am (arrives in Carnarvon @ 9.50am)/CVN to PER Sat 12th August @ 6.30 pm (arrives in Perth @ 8.45 pm)
    Winners will be responsible for making their own way to and from both airports at their own cost.
    The Gascoyne Food Council is not liable for missed flights or transport during the festival. Flights will not be rescheduled if the winner is not at the airport on time.
    All additional accommodation expenses such as room service, drinks and meals (and any other costs incurred) are to be paid by the winner.
    Bus to collect and return the prize winner from their accommodation to the Long Table Lunch at Bentwaters Plantation at no cost to the prize winner.
    Employees of Best Western Hospitality Inn, Carnarvon and Gascoyne Food Council are not eligible to enter
    The winner must provide a mobile phone number and email address to Community Newspapers to allow Festival organisers to correspond directly with the winner.
    The winners of the competition will be selected by random choice 14 July, 2017 at Community Newspaper Group, Perth
    Directors and employees of Community Newspaper Group Ltd including their immediate families, its agencies and companies associated with the competition are ineligible to enter.
    The promoter and the judges will not be liable for any losses or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained, in connection with the Promotion, the use of the prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the promoter, the judges or their respective agents, employees and contractors.
