CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. The promoter is Event, Greater Union, GU Film House or Birch Carroll & Coyle Cinemas
2. The competition commences on Thursday 15 June and closes at 5pm on Sunday 23 July 2017
3. The competition is open to children aged between 0 – 13 years who have obtained consent from their parent or guardian to enter the competition and provide personal information about themselves
4. Only one entry per child is permitted
5. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries
6. The winning entry will be determined on their merits by reference to artistic talent. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be exchanged
7. Each cinema will choose one Most Creative winner from their entries. The winner receives: a Despicable Me 3 prize pack containing: a sticker sheet, card goggles, stationery set and magnet Mel
8. The prize is non-refundable, transferable or redeemable in other way than outlined in the terms and conditions. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar replacement type and value should the items specified in item 7 above be unavailable
9. The entries will be judged at your local cinema. The winners will be notified by phone and/or email
10. All entries become the property of the promoter, may be displayed at their place of business and are unable to be returned to the entrant
11. All entries will be entered into a database. Entrants agree that the promoter
may use their names, postal / email addresses, telephones numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes and in any media without notice
12. The promoter reserves the right to
verify the validity of entries and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process and for unsuitable entries
13. To make the judging process fair and consistent, the judges will be looking for: interesting and vibrant colours, mixed medium (pens, pencils, crayon – be creative as you can), innovation and age appropriate technique
