Featuring everything from the operatic delivery of parliamentary speeches to a piece conducted by a goldfish, After Julia is a new music event concerned not so much with politics, but with the cultural recognition of women in leadership. After Julia explores the ways in which Julia Gillard's leadership inadvertently exposed gender discrimination both in the Australian parliament, and throughout the country.
After Julia has two performances only as part of the Queensland Music Festival, 7.30pm, Thursday 13 & Friday 14 July @ Metro Arts, 109 Edward Street, Brisbane City.
For a chance to win a double-pass to the Friday 14 July performance, email
