NRL Grand Final Getaway
Terms & Conditions
1. Promotional Period
1.1 Armidale City Bowling Club (ACBC) “NRL Grand Final Getaway” promotion (“Promotion”) commences at
10am on the 8th of May, 2017 and ends Friday 25th of August, 2017 after the major draw at 8pm.
2. Entry Requirements
2.1 Entry is open to all financial members of ACBC and is via:
- Entrance Terminal Barrel - Swiping a membership card at the clubs entrance terminal during
the promotional period. Members will be entitled to one (1) entry per day.
2.2 Members gaining entry through an entrance terminal swipe must place their entry tickets in the
Entrance Terminal Barrel before the draw date to be eligible. The barrel will remain full for the
entire promotional period.
3. Draws and Prizes
3.1 There is one (1) draw conducted on the 25th of August at 8pm from the Entrance Terminal Barrel
3.2 There will be 1 (one) winner drawn out of all entries in the barrel. The winner will be given 4 (four) minutes
to make themselves known to drawer. The winner’s name and membership number will be announced
over the Clubs internal PA system.
3.3 If the winner is not present after 4 minutes the prize will be again drawn and this will continue until a
winner is present.
3.4 There will be one (1) major prizes, this will be the following NRL Grand Final experience valued at $3110
per person, booked through Sportsnet Holidays.

4. Identification
4.1 Winners must be present to claim their prize and they must produce a financial membership card to claim
their prize.
5. General
General
5.1 Prize winners are advised that Tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek
independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
5.2 ACBC is the promoter. The promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all
aspects of the prize, if the promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the
mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize.
5.3 ACBC reserves the right to cancel or change the prizes offered under this promotion if there are any
changes to the law which would render the promotion or any prizes offered under the promotion
unlawful
5.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.5 Decisions of the management of ACBC are final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5.6 To the extent that a situation or issue arises for which these terms and conditions make no provision or in
relation to which the relevant terms and conditions are unclear, ACBC reserves the right to make a
decision regarding such a situation or issue in its sole and absolute discretion and such a decision will be
final and binding.
5.7 ACBC Directors, Management and staff members are not eligible to participate in the Promotion.
5.8 Participation in the Promotion by a patron confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions of the Promotion
and the Club’s Rules and By-Laws in force from time to time.
5.9 Should a prize winner consent to having his/her photograph taken, that selected prize winner consents to
having his/her name and photograph published in any form of media and agrees to participate in any
reasonable promotion requested by ACBC.
5.10If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by
computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes
beyond the control of the promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or
integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to
disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
5.11All entries become the property of the Promoter and will be entered into a database. The promoter may
use the entrants' names, addresses and telephone numbers for the distribution of prizes as well as future
promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any
fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant.

5.12In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time
stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner.
5.13The laws of the state of New South Wales govern the promotion.
