This is a Sweepstake and the winners will be randomly drawn.
Entry is open to United States, Canada, Australia, and U.K. residents over 18 years of age only. Employees or contractors of Roar Adventures and their immediate families are ineligible to enter. Only one entry per person is permitted. All duplicate entries will be removed prior to the prize draw.
Promotion commences on WED 22nd MAR 2017 and closes at 11:59 PM AEDT on SUN 31st JUL 2017. Promotion will be via the Roar Adventures website ( https://www.roaradventures.com), promotional partners and related social media pages.
There is one prize to be given away for the competition. The draw will take place at 9:00 AM AEDT as follows: on FRI 4th AUG 2017 at Roar Adventures - 38 Business Street, Yatala, QLD 4207, AUSTRALIA.
All winners will be notified by email. The draw is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
To enter: Users must subscribe to our newsletter. Name, email and country are required as a minimum.
To be a valid entry, the email provided by the Eligible Entrant must be valid.
Email addresses that bounce or do not exist will be considered ineligible for the Competition. Cost of entry via the internet is free, but internet connection and usage rates may apply - Eligible Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers.
All Eligible Entrants must ensure that the Promoter receives their entries during the Entry Period. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of submission by the Eligible Entrant.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by an Eligible Entrant invalid if the Eligible Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these conditions.
Eligible Entrants must submit their internet entries manually. The Promoter may reject internet entries if it reasonably forms the opinion that they have been entered using automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.
Prize Details are as follows:
(i) One (1) Spiceroads "Angkor Explorer" cycing tour (as detailed at https://www.spiceroads.com/tours/angkor_explorer) for 2 people. No add-ons, extras or surcharges are included in the prize. (Tour retail value: $385.00 USD per person);
(ii) One (1) SCICON® AeroComfort Road 3.0 TSA Bike Travel Bag (retail value: $899.00 USD);
(iii) One (1) SCICON® Race Rain Bag (retail value: $139.95 USD); and
(iv) Two (2) Mindshift Gear rotation180 Panorama backpacks (retail value: $199.99 USD each).
All above prizes include any applicable GST or sales tax. Total prize value of this contest is $2,208.94 USD. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other prizes. Prize value is recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and is correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
If the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, substitute alternative goods or services of no lesser retail value and/or specification. The Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by the Prize winner or any other party if the Prize (or part of the Prize) is unavailable for any reason.
The Prize winner will be notified by a written message that will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail provided by them in their entry.
The Prize notification will state the Prize that has been won and will include instructions as to how the Prize winner is to claim the Prize and establish his/her entitlement to it. The Prize winner must provide a suitable address where prize will be delivered (must not be a PO Box).
Prize will be posted and signed for by Prize winner on arrival to give evidence that the Prize winner has received the Prize. Subject, where relevant, to any directions given under the legislation regulating the Competition, if the Prize is:
(i) not claimed by the Prize winner within 1 month of the draw for the Prize;
(ii) forfeited for any reason; or
(iii) the Prize winner is determined by the Promoter to be ineligible, the Prize will be awarded to another Eligible Entrant in a redraw for the Prize.
Any such redraw will be made from a pool of entries comprising all those entries that were originally eligible to win the Prize.
Any such redraw will commence at 12:00 PM on FRI 11th AUG 2017 at Roar Adventures - 38 Business Street, Yatala, QLD 4207, AUSTRALIA.
If there is a redraw, the name of the winner of the redraw will be notified by a written message that will be sent by e-mail to the e-mail or mailing address provided by them in their entry.
The Prize notification will state the Prize that has been won and will include instructions as to how the Prize winner is to claim the Prize and establish his/her entitlement to it.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the Prize at the time stipulated by the promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
All entries and personal information submitted become the property of the Promoter, will be entered into a database, and may be shared by the Promoter with the Promotion Sponsors. The Promoter and Sponsors may use the entrants' names, addresses, emails and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. Any personal information supplied by entrants will be subject to the Roar Adventures privacy policy viewable at https://www.roaradventures.com/launch_contest.
The Promoter and Sponsors shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
