Father’s Day Terms & Conditions
DFO Data Capture Campaign
By entering the 2017 DFO Father’s Day Competition (“the Promotion”), you (“the Entrant”)
agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. The Promoter is Sentinel DFO Cairns Pty Ltd as trustee (ACN: 610 938 602) of 274
Mulgrave road, Westcourt, Queensland, 4870
2. All information on 'how to enter' forms part of these terms and conditions. By entering into
these terms and conditions each Entrant warrants that they have read, understood and agree
to be bound by the terms and conditions. The Promotion commences on Thursday 17 August
2017 at 12.00am AEDT and closes on Friday 1 September 2017 at 4.00pm AEST. (“the
Promotion Period”). Any entry that is not received during the Promotion period will be invalid.
3. Entrants will receive a ‘thanks for your submission’ pop up after the time of their entry, if
completing an online form. For online entries, the time of entry will be the time at which the
completed online entry form is received by the Promoter's online database. Any entry that is
not received during the Promotion period will be invalid.
4. The draw will take place at 4.00pm AEST on Friday 1 September 2017 at Sentinel Property
Management offices in Brisbane.
5. The Promoter will randomly select three winners.
6. The Promoter will contact the winner by telephone (if available) and/or email to confirm the
Entrant's winning entry within 24 hours of the draw. The call and/or email will request the
Entrant's to pick up their prizes from DFO Cairns Information Hub (if over the weekend) or
Centre Management (during office hours).
7. If contacted by the Promoter the winner has until 4.00pm on Tuesday 5 September 2017 to
respond to the Promoter’s contact. Once that time period has lapsed the winner will forfeit
their prize and the Promoter will select another winner.
8. The winners' names will be published on the DFO Cairns Facebook page, located
at https://www.facebook.com/DFOCairns.
9. The winner must collect their prize from DFO Cairns Shopping Centre prior to Friday 8
September 2017. If the prize is not collected prior to this date the winner forfeits their prize
and a new winner will be drawn.
10. No prize can be collected unless the winner provides proof of identity which is satisfactory to
the Promoter.

Eligibility
11. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 16 years and over. Entrants must be individuals and
not companies or other entities. Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter and
associated agencies and/or companies in any way involved in the Promotion, are not valid
Entrants in the Promotion.
12. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments,
or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, will
not be eligible to win.
How to enter
13. Entrants must complete all required sections of the entry form.
14. Entrants may enter in the Promotion as many time as they desire.
By entering into the Promotion, the Entrant agrees and acknowledges that:

last name (surname), date of birth, contact number, email address, suburb and prize preference

16. By entering the Promotion the Entrants agree to receive information and marketing
communications from DFO Cairns;
17. In the event that the Entrant is one of the winners of the Promotion, the Entrant will be required to
consent to the disclosure, publication and dissemination of their name and likeness for the
purposes of the Promotion, and DFO Cairns advertising and marketing purposes (as winners of
the Promotion);
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the
Promotion period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries; and
19. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not
warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
