At Time Out, having a good time is right there in our job description. Great atmosphere might seem complicated to pin down – but when you break it into pieces, it’s actually a pretty simple formula. Take a welcoming space, add excellent snacks, throw in a few cocktails or a nice bottle of wine and then switch on the music. It’s true in a venue – but it applies at home too. Without tunes, the whole thing falls apart.

No night is complete without a great playlist to galvanise the crowd, trigger great memories and stories, to get people dancing with their finger food or breaking into song. It's the music that turns a good night into a memorable one.

To prove our [good music = good times] theory, Time Out is partnering with Sonos to host a home-style celebration where the playlist is the star.  There’s just one element missing: great company. That’s why we’re giving you, and three of your closest pals – the chance to come on over.

To be in with a chance, tell us your ultimate mood-setting song by 5pm Thursday November 16. If you're one of our 10 lucky winners, we'll play it on the night. The party’s on Wednesday November 29 at Rupert on Rupert in Collingwood.
