This is your last chance to explore Gladiators: Heroes of the Colosseum and experience the Museum after dark – with no kids!

The exhibition tells the story of Roman gladiators in four thematic zones – The Roman Empire, Rome and the Colosseum, Who are the Gladiators?, and A Day at the Arena. Featuring more than 110 original artefacts including pieces of the Colosseum, authentic elaborately decorated bronze gladiator helmets and original arms and armour preserved in the ashes of Pompeii, this is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes to learn the story of these armed athletes who fought to entertain and inspire the people of Ancient Rome.
