Win one of two double passes to Grizzly Bear’s only Brisbane show!
After emerging from the wilderness with its first album in five years, indie quartet Grizzly Bear will play Queensland Performing Arts Centre’s (QPAC) Concert Hall for one night only on Wednesday March 14.
One of the most anticipated releases of 2017, the band’s latest album Painted Ruins was unleashed in August and, according to Vulture, had ‘this year’s stickiest and most surprising hooks’, radiating an ‘uncanny brilliance’ (The Guardian) with its flirty sonics and gorgeous density. Breaking onto the scene in the noughties, when indie rock was on a nose-bleeding trajectory, the Brooklyn-based band has spent the past decade creeping up Top 10 lists.
An era-defining – and era-defying – band, Grizzly Bear has been repeatedly praised by Jay-Z, toured with Radiohead and sold out gigs and headlined festivals around the world. With an international tour on the back of rave reviews for Painted Ruins from the likes of The New York Times and Rolling Stone, Grizzly Bear is well and truly out of hibernation.
The Weekend Edition is giving you the chance to win one of two double passes to see Grizzly Bear at QPAC on Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 8:00 pm – valued at $316. Enter below for your chance to win.
