Fresh from sell-out performances in 2017, Green Day’s explosive, award-winning Broadway phenomenon American Idiot returns to rock QPAC’s Playhouse from 13 April 2018!

American Idiot is the story of three boyhood friends, each searching for meaning in a post 9/11, Trumpian-suburbia. The show features the music of Green Day with the lyrics of its lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong and book by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer.

The high-octane Brisbane season will include an all-Australian cast featuring Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) and Sarah McLeod (The Superjesus) and includes every song from Green Day’s album American Idiot, as well as several songs from follow-up release, 21st Century Breakdown.
