These school holidays, enter an extraordinary new world at QPAC with The Arrival, based on the much-loved novel by Shaun Tan.
See giant ships fly through the air and foreign tongues thrive in this strange and wondrous place. Curious puppetry and physical theatre combine with breathtaking sets, whimsical props, and a remarkable soundscape to tell the touching story.
In The Arrival, a man flees his homeland and journeys across vast seas to arrive in a brand new place. There he negotiates dazzling architecture, bizarre foods, and foreign tongues to build a new life. On his travels, the man meets fellow strangers, each with their own tales to tell.
