From visionary director Spike Lee comes BlacKkKlansman, the provocative story based on Ron Sallworth’s real life as Colorado Springs’ first African-American police officer who went undercover to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan. In this unbelievable true tale, Detective Stallworth (John David Washington) and his partner Flip Zimmerman (Adam Driver) penetrate the KKK at its highest levels to thwart its attempt to take over the city. Produced by the team behind the Academy Award-winning Get Out, Spike Lee uses his trademark take-no-prisoners style and humour to tell this story often missing from the history books. The film also picked up the prestigious Grand Prix award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, cementing its status as one to watch.

The Weekend Edition is giving you the chance to win one of 100 double passes to The Weekend Edition Gold Coast’s preview screening of BlacKkKlansman on Monday August 6, 2018 at 6:45 pm at Event Cinemas Pacific Fair.

BlacKkKlansman is in cinemas from August 16.
