The Weekend Edition is asking you, its readers, to choose your favourite eating and drinking spots throughout the various categories and vote for them to win The Weekend Edition’s 12th annual EAT/drink Awards 2019, proudly supported by Newstead Brewing Co..

The Brisbane food scene has come a long way in 12 years, and so have our EAT/drink Awards. The awards launched with our beloved map magazine in 2007 as Brisbane’s first entirely reader-voted food awards. Following map’s retirement in 2014, The Weekend Edition has continued to grow the awards and celebrate the best places in Brisbane to eat and drink.

This is your opportunity to tell us how it is out there in the land of eating and drinking. And it doesn’t just mean the cuisine and refreshing hot or cold beverages – it means the whole package. We want the creativity, the experience, the service, the ambience and the flavour all to be taken into account when you tell us who you think deserves to win. Voting will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday June 23, 2019. Winners will be announced Monday July 1, 2019.

While we were inundated with nominations, we had to narrow this year’s voting down to the top 20 nominations in each category. In appreciation for your time to enter (maybe grab a coffee as it will take a few minutes), you have the chance to be rewarded for your efforts! Newstead Brewing Co. has put together a VIP package for the voter who selects the most winners across all the categories – valued at $500.
