GET CREATIVE ABOUT SAFETY COMPETITION
Kidsafe WA and ATCO are pleased to bring you the Get Creative about Safety Competition for 2020. Get students excited to learn about safety and go in the draw to win prizes for students and their class! First, second and third prizes will be awarded for each category.

Competition opens Monday 20th July 2020 and closes Friday 25th September 2020.

Years 1-3: Colouring-In Competition

Colour in the image and engage in conversation with students around what they should do if they smell gas. Rotten egg smell? It could be a gas leak. Steps you should take if you suspect a gas leak include identifying the smell, leaving the area and contacting ATCO on 13 13 52. Years 4-6: Design a Comic Strip

Ask children to design a comic strip about safety. The comic strip can be up to 2 pages long and can be designed using paints, pencils, textas, crayons, or any other medium. Examples of safety messages include how to cross the road safely, gas safety and preventing burns.
