Share with us a photo of one of your favourite South Australian State Heritage Places for your chance to win one of a number of prizes.

There are over 2,300 State heritage-listed places in South Australia, but not everyone knows about these places, why they are of significance and where to find them.

Your photographs will not only help celebrate our State Heritage Places, but also our Maritime and Coastal heritage through photos you can enter through Category 1.

The winner from each category will be awarded a certificate and an exciting prize to recognise their winning entry, while the overall winner and the people’s choice award winner will both win an exciting prize!

How to enter
To enter the competition, upload your photo/s to the entry form, and fill out the required details.

There is a limit of three photographic images an individual can submit.

Categories
There are eight categories you can enter as follows:

Category 1 – Maritime and Coastal Heritage (including photos of shipwrecks!)

Category 2 – State Heritage Places that have been changed (showcasing adaptive reuse)

Category 3 – State Heritage places to visit

Category 4 – Wild SA (Natural State Heritage places or Nature within a State Heritage Area)

Category 5 – Young People snapping State Heritage (open to school age entrants under the age of 18 as at 1 July 2020)

Category 6 – State Heritage Places captured through technology (if you are using a drone or 3D imagery this is the category for you!)

Category 7 – Professional and edited (of a State Heritage Place or State Heritage Area)

Category 8 – Honouring our military involvement (Photos of State Heritage memorials, monuments or buildings involved in the war effort)

Entries close at Midnight, Friday 30 October 2020 CST.

Please refer to the SA Heritage Places Database if you are not sure if the place you have photographed is a State Heritage Place.
