Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Conditions of Entry.
The Promoter is Allen & Unwin Pty Ltd (A.B.N 79 003 994 278) of 83 Alexander Street, Crows Nest, NSW 2065.
Entry is open to Australian residents only. Employees of Allen & Unwin Pty Ltd, anyone else connected to Allen & Unwin, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
Eligible people (Entrants) who enter online, detailed below, will be eligible to win. Five (5) entrants will be selected as the winners, with each receiving a copy of Loveland by Robert Lukins. Each prize is valued at AUD $32.99. The total prize value is AUD $164.95.
To enter, a person must answer the question: For your chance to win, tell us why you would like to read Loveland by Robert Lukins. Only one (1) entry per person is allowed.
The entry submitted will be taken as the Entrant’s acceptance of assigning all rights and interests including but not limited to copyright and all other intellectual property rights of the Entrant’s to Allen & Unwin. Allen & Unwin reserves the right to edit or alter the Entrant’s submission.
Books are not permitted for sale.
No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash.
The competition commences 07:00 (AEDT) on 24/3/2022. Entries close 23.59 (AEDT) on 31/3/2022 (the Competition period). The competition commencing and closing dates are final. Any entry received after that date will be ineligible. Entry by any person will be taken as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Judgement of all entries will be conducted at the Promoter’s office on 01/4/2022. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prizes will be awarded to the entrants who, in the opinion of the judges, provides the best answers to the question on the competition form.
The winners will be contacted via email by 04/4/2022 and be asked to provide their postal address ONLY. No other information will be requested from the winners.
If this prize is unavailable for any reason, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to select an alternative prize of similar value which will be awarded to the relevant winner/s, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Entrants for this competition will not be contacted on any social media channel or sent a friend request. Winners will only be contacted via the official Allen & Unwin email as detailed in the terms and conditions. Please stay vigilant and avoid sharing personal information and credit card details through DMs, especially if they are not coming through official handles. Not affiliated with Facebook. No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Competition.
In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the name on the Entry Form and Release, not the owner of the e-mail account.
Allen & Unwin may conduct such further judging as is necessary on 08/4/2022 in order to distribute any prizes unclaimed by that date, or if the original winners are deemed ineligible. If rejudging is required, the winner/s will be notified by e-mail.
Allen & Unwin collects entrant’s personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. Allen & Unwin respects your privacy. Your personal details will only be used for the purpose of this promotion unless you nominate otherwise.
