June 9, 2022

Xavier Rudd is one of Australia’s greatest artists, activists and spirits who has a gift for connecting and unifying people through his laid-back musical style. He’s been playing sell-out shows on his current tour and now looks forward to connecting with Canberra. Performing at the Canberra Theatre on Saturday 18th of June this is one night to set outside for some music magic as he performs songs from his new album “Jan Juc Moon”, along with old favourites including “Follow The Sun”.

“It’s so great getting back on the road, I’m really looking forward to reconnecting with the Canberra crowd” says Rudd. “Jan Juc Moon” is Xavier Rudd’s 10th studio album ‘Jan Juc Moon’ and debuted at No. 6 on the ARIA chart. His shows will be supported by dynamic First Nations emerging duo Marlon x Rulla..

From his birthplace on the South East coast of Australia to the world, you can measure the Xavier vibe in audiences in their tens of thousands and hundreds of millions of song streams including new songs Stoney Creek and Ball and Chain [Feat J-MILLA].

Acoustic guitar in hand, engulfed by didgeridoos, percussion and various eclectic instruments, Xavier cuts a unique figure on stage.  As the world warmed to his first albums of the early 2000s, Live In Canada, To Let and Solace Rudd promises an electric show full of that inexplicable Xavier Rudd vibe that leaves you feeling great!

Xavier’s upward arc is among the most astounding success stories of our time. With over 20 years of touring nothing compares to Xavier Rudd in concert who is truly at his best on stage in the company of his fans. Having amassed huge followings worldwide he will embark on his international tour this September. Catch him in Canberra while you can!
