Go With A Pro
Make your trip to the Snowies this year one to remember by heading beyond the resort boundaries and into the backcountry. The best part is, you don’t need to be a pro – we’re sending one with you!

Mountain guide and Arc’teryx athlete Lewis Foster will take two lucky Explorers on a private, all day alpine expedition with K7 Adventures. The winner can take their pick from snowshoeing tours (no experience or skills needed!), to split-boarding or skiing adventures. There are also summer hiking, climbing and MTB tours if snow sports aren’t your thing.

Plus Arc’teryx will give you and your mate an Alpha Parka each to keep you toasty in all conditions.

Just head to the mountains and leave the adventure plans up to us!



ARC’TERYX ALPHA PARKA COMPETITION

 

The Promoter is We Are Explorers (ABN 88 627 294 142) of 2/10 Towers Dr, Mullumbimby, NSW 2481.

 

STANDARD TERMS

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

 

WHO CAN ENTER

2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to Australian and New Zealand residents

2.2. Employees, franchisees and their immediate families of We Are Explorers, Arc’teryx or K7 Adventures, or any related agencies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister.

 

HOW TO ENTER

3.1 The competition commences on the 27/06/2022 at 10:00AM AEST and closes 15/07/2022 at 11:59PM AEST (“the Competition Period”).

3.2 In order to enter, the entrants must complete the entry form by providing the entrant’s full name, email address and fill out the competition form.

3.3 In order to enter, the entrants must agree to receive email marketing communications from the Promoters which may be unsubscribed at any point.

3.4 The entrants will be signed up to the email database at the completion of the promotion period.

3.5 Entrants may only enter once.

 

PRIZES

4.1 One winner will be chosen at random with a random selector application.

Prize;

For one winner and a friend of their choice

2 x Arc’teryx Alpha Parka’s
Any private 2-person all day tour with K7 Adventures (valued at up to $2000).
 

Total prize pool value up to $5,000 AUD

4.2 Prize does not include any transport or accommodation that may be necessary to take part in the prize.

4.3 K7 Adventures experience must be claimed before 31 Dec 2023.

4.4  Prize cannot be exchanged or refunded in any way by the winner.

 

UNCLAIMED PRIZE

Any prizes that remain unclaimed for two weeks after the end of the promotion period will be awarded to another entrant as determined by the Promoters.  The pool will be made up of runner up entrants as determined by the Promoters.

If required, this will occur on 01/08/2022

 

SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS

5.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with Clause 3 will be entered into the prize pool.

5.2 The winner will be selected by the Promoters on the 18/07/2022 at 10:00AM AEST.

5.3 The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on We Are Explorers social media platforms on the 18/07/2022.

5.4 The Promoter’s decision is final.

 

NO LIABILITY

6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.

6.2 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.

6.3 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:

6.3.1 during the draw;

6.3.2 in the participation in any prize

6.3.3 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;

6.3.4 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;

6.3.5 due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.

6.4 The Promoters and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.

6.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter’s which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter’s reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other dishonest act, may take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State legislation.

The details contained in your entry are protected by security safeguards as detailed in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. The personal information collected as part of the entry is collected to enable identification of the winner and for future marketing and promotional purposes. Your personal information will only be disclosed to the Promoter’s and its related bodies corporate for these purposes.
