Shot in Byron Bay by Gold Coast creative Macario (Kid Mac) de Souza, 6 FESTIVALS is a coming-of-age drama told through the prism of the 6 music festivals that frame the film.

The film is a celebration of friendship and the colourful rites of passage that music festivals play in Australian youth culture. 6 FESTIVALS will feature some of Australia’s hottest acts and festival regulars including Dune Rats, G Flip, Bliss n Eso, B Wise and Peking Duk.

Audiences will experience a heartfelt story with deeply entrenched friendships as well as a glimpse into the backstage, behind the scenes and full-on mayhem of live music festivals.

Local award-winning director-producer Macario De Souza (Bra Boys, Fighting Fear), also known as recording artist Kid Mac, has woven a story that celebrates youth alongside his passion of music.
