Eligibility: Trade Promotion (the “Trade Promotion“) is open only to VIC residents who are at least 18+ years old and have a residential electricity account in Victoria at the time of entry. Employees of the Sponsor their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.
Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth herein. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Joulius Pty. Ltd., as final and binding as it relates to the content.
Trade Promotion Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on 1st October 2022. All online entries must be received by 30th November 2022 at 11.59pm AEDST.
How to Enter: To enter the Trade promotion, entrants must complete the following steps during the Trade Promotion Period:
Download the free Joulius app and create an account.
Entrants need to have their Joulius account on their mobile device at the time of the draw to be eligible to win.
Multiple entries are not permitted; only one entry permitted per person.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
Winners: Winners of the Trade Promotion will be selected on a monthly basis starting from the 01/11/2022 (“Judging Period”). Entries into each Judging Period will open and close on the below dates and times. The judging for each period will take place at 1/47 Gilby Road, Mount Waverley VIC 3149 on the dates and times below. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant. For the removal of doubt, non-winning entries in each Judging Period will be entered into any subsequent Judging Winners will be notified by email.

This is a game of chance.
The Sponsor’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Winners will need to provide a copy of their residential electricity bill (preferably in electronic format) to verify the bill amount and the date it was issued (must be a recent bill with costs incurred within the 3 months prior to winning). Prize money will be paid as a credit to the winners’ electricity account should the entrant become a winner.
Joulius Pty. Ltd. shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notices due to winners’ spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for winners’ provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fifteen (15) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
Prizes: An entrant will be randomly selected from each Judging Period, as determined by the judges, and will have their residential electricity bill paid by the Sponsor for one (1) month up to the value of $235. If a winner is quarterly billed, the Sponsor will pay for one (1) third/one (1) months’ worth) of the quarterly bill, up to a maximum value of $235. If the total winners’ bills are of a lesser value than the prize pool of $470, the Sponsor reserves the right to select more winners until the prize pool has been exhausted.
The approximate retail value of all prizes is up to $470.
No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses shall be the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted unless otherwise specified by the Sponsor.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Joulius Pty. Ltd. to use winner’s name,  for purposes of advertising and trade in any media for an unlimited period without further compensation.
Terms: Joulius Pty. Ltd. reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Trade Promotion should (in its sole discretion) a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Traded Promotion. In such case, Joulius Pty. Ltd. may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Joulius Pty. Ltd.. Joulius Pty. Ltd. reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Sponsor has reason to believe has tampered or attempted to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Sponsor’s discretion. Failure by the Sponsor to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Sponsor’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Joulius Pty. Ltd. has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Trade Promotion, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to; multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by trade promotion rules; or the use of bots, macros or scripts or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the trade promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Joulius Pty. Ltd. reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in VIC (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Sponsor (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Sponsor (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of:
(a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Sponsor’s control);
(b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;
(c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Sponsor) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor;
(d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
(e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
(f) use/taking of the prize.
Privacy Policy: The Sponsor collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Sponsor will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://joulius.com.au/privacy-policy/. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, the Sponsor may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.  All entries become the property of the Sponsor. Unless otherwise indicated by the Sponsor, the Sponsor may disclose personal information to entities outside of Australia.

As a condition of entering this promotion, each entrant licenses and grants the Sponsor, its affiliates and sub-licensee a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display their entry (which shall include Content) for any purpose, including but not limited too future promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, in any media, without compensation, restriction to use, attribution or liability.

Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram or Facebook. The information an entrant provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Terms and Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. Instagram will not be liable for any loss or damage or personal injury which is suffered or sustained  by an entrant, as a result of participating in the promotion (including taking/use of a prize), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
