Qld summer photo competition: Enter your holiday snaps to win

We’re all going on a summer holiday … and now it’s time to get your cameras out for our Summer Snaps competition for a chance to be featured in The Courier-Mail and win some great prizes.

If you’ve got a fabulous snap of Queenslanders having fun in the sun then we want to hear from you.

Calling all photographers, budding or pro, snap-happy holiday-makers and those who think they can get the perfect shot.

Share your holiday snaps in The Courier-Mail’s photo competition for your chance to win prizes to enjoy a summer like no other.

Over the school holidays, Hayley Banks, said her family will be treasuring every photo out in the sun.

“It’s a nice way to capture the memory,” Ms Banks said.

For Ms Banks’ family, outdoors is where her family loves to be on the holidays. Her son Ryder Worthington loves being out in the water, surfing.

“He’s an active kid, he’s not one of those ones that likes to sit on the computer. He likes the enjoyment of being outside,” she said.

“We holiday a lot in Bali and we are always taking photos of the kids surfing or whatever they are doing. There’s a gazillion photos.”

Quite often he will be out in his Rivvia Projects boardshorts and his Thomas Surfboard.

Entries will be judged by the our photographic team, and they’ll be looking to see the places and faces you’re enjoying over the holidays.

Submit as many pictures as you like, our team will judge three winners from each state with all winners being featured in the papers.

The competition will run for a four-week period – starting December 26 and running until January 29 – with the winner chosen at the start of February.

Entrants must be aged 18 or older and a resident of Queensland. Entry form opens at 6am on December 26, 2022.
