After a multi-million-dollar refurbishment, Morris House is opening its doors in a landmark building on Exhibition Street. In partnership with Morris House, Broadsheet is sending one lucky winner and a friend to experience it with rooftop drinks, dinner and a show.

Following a four-million-dollar refurbishment, the former European Bier Cafe site on the corner of Exhibition Street and Little Collins Street in the CBD will soon reopen as Morris House: a bright new multi-storey venue. The name is a nod to the building’s history, which boasted the name Morris House when first constructed in 1924.

Inside is a completely transformed venue. On the ground floor, there’s a pub-style restaurant with plush booths and an all-new menu. By day, dine on loaded bagels and burgers; by night, top-quality cured meats, seafood-centric snacks and reimagined pub classics, including hand-crumbed chicken Parma and tender Rangers Valley steak slathered in chimichurri.

There’s also a private bar, music and entertainment space, with a sunny outdoor terrace and leafy, all-weather rooftop bar featuring a laid-back fit-out, spritzes and grazing plates. Catch the lift down a few floors to arrive at a moody, neon-lit comedy club.
