We invite you to show us the Clarence through your camera lens for a chance to win $500 and have your photos published in the Plunge festival program.

The theme of this year's competition and exhibition is “My Clarence”. What are the people and places that make our region unique?
Categories and prizes

Enter for free and you'll have a chance to win a share of the total prize pool of $2500.

There are 4 new categories for 2023/4 and 5 prizes to be won:
• COMMUNITY:  A photo that shows the Clarence Valley community - Prize: $500
• ENVIRONMENT:  A photo that celebrates our environment, built or natural - Prize: $500
• LANDSCAPE: A photo that documents the special landscape of the Clarence - Prize: $500
• PEOPLE: A photo that captures a person or people in the Clarence Valley - Prize: $500

An additional prize of $500 will be awarded for the photo selected from any of the above categories for use in the PLUNGE Festival promotional material.

All entries will be judged on creativity, originality and in accordance to the theme. Photos can be taken by any type of camera (mobile, digital SLR, compact, drone, action) as long as they meet the size requirements of the Artist Brief.

Details

Each entrant may submit up to 3 photos in separate entries, and each entry must identify the correct category as detailed above.

Competition closes: 5pm, 7 January 2024
 
Exhibition dates: 27 March - 30 April 2024
