How to enter
Follow these steps and enter as many times as you like until the promotion ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 18 February 2024.

Spend $20 or more in one transaction on eligible fuel / products# at Shell.

2. Keep your receipt

Your receipt is your proof of purchase. You’ll need it to enter the competition and to validate your entry if you win.

Submit your completed entry form (below) before 11:59pm AEDT on 18 February 2024.

1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

3. Entries into the promotion open on 15/01/24 at 12:00am AEDT and close on 18/02/24 at 11:59pm AEDT (“Promotional Period”).

4. A participating service station is any Shell or Shell Coles Express or Shell Reddy Express service station in Australia (“Participating Service Station”).

5. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, Participating Service Stations and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

6. To be eligible to enter and receive one (1) entry (“Entry”) into the draw, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, complete the following steps:

Spend $20 or more on Eligible Products (excluding purchases made with Shell Card, Fleet Card, Motorcharge or Motorpass), in a single transaction, at any Participating Service Station (“Qualifying Transaction”). “Eligible Products” are any products available in a Participating Service Station except for LGP, AdBlue®, Apple gift cards and any other gift cards, mobile phones, mobile phone plans, recharge, Opal top-up, calling cards, tobacco and tobacco related product purchases, trailer hire and lottery card purchases; and
(b) Visit www.shell.com.au/fuelthedream, follow the prompts to the promotion entry page, input the requested details (including but not limited to their full name, email address, phone number, fuel type purchased (where applicable), the full purchase receipt number and site number as shown on the purchase receipt) and submit the fully completed entry form during the Promotional Period.
Eligible Entrants who purchased Shell V-Power as part of their Qualifying Transaction, will be awarded one (1) additional bonus entry (“Bonus Entry”) when they complete the steps in clause 6(b), provided that they specify the type of fuel purchased as Shell V-Power in the entry form.

7. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) Entry and one (1) Bonus Entry permitted per receipted Qualifying Transaction (regardless of the amount spent in that transaction in excess of $20); and (b) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

8. Entrants will be able to request an email outlining details on how to enter this promotion, by scanning the QR code presented in selected supporting cinema advertising. Individuals who elect to request a promotional email consent to the privacy collection statement set out in clause 29.

9. Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) must clearly specify the product(s) purchased, the Participating Service Station of purchase and that the purchase was made during the Promotional Period but prior to entry.

10. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

11. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.

12. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

13. The draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, G13, Amy Close, North Wyong NSW 2259, on 19/02/24 at 12:00pm AEDT, in the presence of an independent scrutineer. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. 14. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

15. The first (1) valid entry drawn (“Major Prize winner”) will win one (1) trip for two (2) adults to attend THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 in Melbourne, VIC valued at $31,558 (“Major Prize”).

Major Prize includes:

One (1) x Flight Centre Gift Card valued at $5,000; and
Two (2) general admission tickets to attend THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 in Melbourne, VIC for four (4) days valued at $558 together.
THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 tickets include the following experiences:

Additional spending money, meals and beverages (other than those included), taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. The Major Prize must be taken between 21/03/24 – 25/03/24 to coincide with THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 and is subject to booking and flight availability. The Major Prize winner and their companion must organise their own travel arrangements, using the Flight Centre Gift Card provided.

16. The next five (5) valid entries drawn (“Minor Prize winners”) will each win two (2) general admission tickets to attend THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 in Melbourne, VIC for four (4) days valued at $558 together (“Minor Prize”). The Minor Prizes must be taken between 21/03/24 – 25/03/24 to coincide with THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 and do not include any travel, accommodation or other costs associated with taking the prize.

17. Each prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. This promotion is not affiliated with the Australian Grand Prix Corporation (AGPC). 18. THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 ticket prizes are subject to the event venue and ticket terms and conditions, including any applicable age restriction. The Promoter and event organisers hereby expressly reserve the right to eject the winner (or his/her companion) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating in any element of the prize.

19. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the Flight Centre Gift Card are not included. Any unused balance of the Flight Centre Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the Flight Centre Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Flight Centre Gift Card.

20. The “meet and greet” element of the Major Prize provides the winner (and their companion) with an opportunity to meet one or more team members from the Scuderia Ferrari team. This element of the Major Prize is not guaranteed and is subject to the goodwill and availability of the team members on the day. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility and will not offer any alternative in the event that this element cannot be offered for any reason whatsoever.

21. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prizes between 21/03/24 – 25/03/24, then the prizes will be forfeited.

22. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

23. Total prize pool value is up to $34,348.

24. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise advised.

25. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 08/03/24 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. 26. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

27. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

28. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

29. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

30. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

31. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if THE FORMULA ONE ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX 2024 event in Melbourne, VIC is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (g) taking of a prize.

33. The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities.
