Terms and Conditions:

    These official rules (“Rules“) apply to the “Cambridge Homemaker Centre Spend & Win” (“Promotion”) conducted by Calardu Cambridge (ABN: 41 002 263 872) c/- Knight Frank, 5 Victoria Street, Hobart, Tasmania. Cambridge Homemaker Centre (“Promoter”) for 66 Kennedy Drive, Cambridge, TAS 7170. (“Centre”).
    Information on how to enter forms part of these Rules.  The Promoter may, at any time, amend, add to or delete any of these Rules.
    Entry is deemed acceptance of these Rules including any changes made by the Promoter, even if the entry is before the publication of any changes to these Rules.
    The Promotion commences at 9:00 am on Friday 1st March 2024 and ends at 5.30pm on Sunday 31st March 2024 (“Promotion Period”). 

Eligibility

    To be eligible to enter the Promotion (and so be an “Entrant”) an individual must be an Australian resident and spend $50.00 minimum in a single transaction at any store in the Cambridge Homemaker Centre Complex.
    An individual may enter the Promotion as many times as they wish provided they spend the required amount in one transaction at any shop in the Centre.

Entry

    An Entrant can enter via email, private message to the Cambridge Homemaker Centre Social Media pages, or by leaving their receipt in Boxes located in the shops.
    To enter the Prize Draw via social media or email, and be eligible for the Prize, an Entrant must send a photo of their receipt with a minimum spend of $50.00 via email or private message to the Cambridge Homemaker Centre Social Media pages,

    To enter the Prize Draw in store, an Entrant must leave their receipt with a minimum spend of $50.00 in the designated boxes in the Store. 
    To be a valid entry (“Valid Entry”) the Entry must include:

    include the Entrant’s full name, telephone number, and date of birth, which must be complete and legible. 
    If entry is made in store, this is to be written on the back of the receipt.

    On lodgment of a Valid Entry in accordance with these Rules, an Entrant will be eligible for the prize draw (“Prize Draw”).

Prizes

    The total available prize pool for the Promotion (at prices applicable as of November 2023 and subject to variation) comprises the following prizes (“Prize”):

    $500 Pets Domain Gift Voucher
    $500 Minimax Gift Voucher
    $500 BCF Gift Voucher
    $500 Harris Scarfe Gift Voucher

    A Prize awarded by the Promoter is not exchangeable for any other goods or services and cannot be taken as cash. 
    The brand of goods constituting the Prize is at the sole discretion of the Promoter and is subject to availability.
    The value of the Prize is accurate as at the commencement of the Promotion Period.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize after that date.  If for any reason the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

Prize Draw

    The Prize Draw will be conducted by the Promoter’s representative drawing four (4) Entries from a competition box containing all entries on Wednesday 3rd April 2024, and winners will be announced prior to 5pm.

Drawing of Prizes

    The first (1st) Entrant whose name appears on the first Valid Entry randomly drawn at the Prize Draw will win prize (a) $500 Pets Domain Gift Voucher.
    The second (2nd) Entrant whose name appears on the first Valid Entry randomly drawn at the Prize Draw will win prize (b) $500 Minimax Gift Voucher.
    The third (3rd) Entrant whose name appears on the first Valid Entry randomly drawn at the Prize Draw will win prize (c) $500 BCF Gift Voucher
    The fourth (4th) Entrant whose name appears on the third Valid Entry randomly drawn at the Prize Draw will win prize (d) $500 Harris Scarfe Gift Voucher.
    If a Valid Entry has two or more individual’s names recorded as the Entrant, the Winner will be the individual whose name appears first on the Valid Entry drawn.
    The Winners need not attend the Prize Draw to claim the Prize.  The Winners will be notified after the Prize Draw by either telephone, email, Facebook or Instagram, depending on the means on entry.
    To be able to collect a Prize the Winners must provide a copy of a Government issued identification card containing a photograph of the Winner as proof of the Winner’s identity.
    If the Winner is under the age of 18 years, an adult guardian must accompany the Winner at the time of claiming the Prize.  If requested by the Promoter or its representative, the adult guardian will be required to sign an acknowledgement confirming the identity of the Winner and the collection of the Prize by the Winner.
    The Winner must claim the Prize from the office of Knight Frank, 5 Victoria Street Hobart by Wednesday 1st May 2024.
    If the Prize is unclaimed by COB 1st May 2024, a second further will be selected at random using the method listed under Prize Draw.
    The Winners name and photo may be published on the Centre’s Social Media page; not limited to Facebook.

General

    The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
    In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right (subject to all relevant State and Federal laws), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
    The Promoter’s decision in respect of all aspects of the Promotion is final and binding on all participating individuals and no correspondence will be entered into.
    The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered (including but not limited to that arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the Promotion and/or any aspect of any prize, except any liability that cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
    All participating individuals are responsible for any taxation liability (including any GST) or other government charges or reporting requirements arising from their participation in the Promotion or receipt of a Prize.  If participation in the Promotion or receipt of a Prize involves a taxable supply being made, then the participating individual is responsible for paying any amount charged by the entity making the supply in respect of its GST liability on the supply.  The Promoter does not offer any advice or accept any responsibility with respect to these matters.
    The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with the Promotion is governed by the Promoter’s privacy notice, (which is available from the Promoter) and these Rules.  To change or modify personal details on the Promoter’s records, please contact the Promoter.
    By entering the competition, all participating individuals consent to their personal information being entered onto a database, which may be made available to the Promoter for marketing purposes relating to the promotion of the Centre and retailers located in the Centre.
    All participating individuals agree to have their name and photograph used for advertising purposes and/or to take part in promotional activities including, without limitation, being interviewed by television, radio and/or other mediums for public broadcast.
    The Promoter reserves the rights, trademarks and copyrights of the Promotion and all artwork, images and print copy associated with the Promotion.
    The company Calardu Cambridge (ABN: 41 002 263 872) c/- Knight Frank, 5 Victoria Street, Hobart, Tasmania may not be sued in any capacity other than as the trustee of the company, including seeking the appointment of a receiver (except in relation to property of the company), a liquidator, an administrator or any similar person to the company Calardu Cambridge (ABN: 41 002 263 872) c/- Knight Frank, 5 Victoria Street, Hobart, Tasmania or prove in any liquidation, administration or arrangement of or affecting the company Calardu Cambridge (ABN: 41 002 263 872) c/- Knight Frank, 5 Victoria Street, Hobart, Tasmania.
