"Worst Of" is the debut album from Sydney's Itchy and the Nits, a group formed by sisters Cin and Bethany Little-Woodcroft, along with Eva McGregor. It's a punchy set of DIY punk, rock, garage, and pop, recorded live with producer Ishka Edmeades (Tee Vee Repairmann).

Celebrating influences like The Donnas, Nikki & The Corvettes, and The Headcoatees, Cin, Bethany and Eva share vocals, blending catchy melodies with plenty of riffs and power chords.

Short, sharp songwriting means most tracks clock in at around one minute. In an interview with Tim Scott of Teenage Hate, Bethany explains, "When we practice they're like a minute. And then we play them live. And they're like 30 seconds because we're nervous. So we play extra fast." Despite the brevity, the infectious energy of each track makes a lasting impression, capturing the spirit of the band's dynamic performances.

The 'Worst Of' combines re-recorded demos and five new songs, including a cover of The Gizmos' "Time Me Out," and a playful signature theme song which opens the album, and currently bookends every live set. Other songs explore friendship, sneaking into live shows (Goner), parasitic insects (fleas), celebrity crushes (Dreamboat), and the struggles of dealing with difficult people (Square).
