Terms & Conditions:

The Promoter is “Step One Clothing Australia Pty”(Step One), a company registered in New South Wales, Australia. Our Australian Company Number is 640 837 181 and our registered address is Level 2, 120 Chalmers Street, Sydney, New South Wales.
The competition is the “Design a pair of Step Ones Promotion” (Promotion).
Entry into this Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon creative merit.
Employees of Step One, its subsidiaries or related companies, together with their families, members of their household or any persons directly or indirectly connected with a particular Promotion are not eligible to enter such Promotion.
Entry to this Promotion is open only to residents who:
(a) are 18 years old and over at the time of entry;
(b) reside in a jurisdiction where it is lawful to conduct the Promotion in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of entry set out in this document (Terms); and
(c) submit their name, number and email as part of the entry,
together referred to as an “Eligible Entrant”.
The Promotion starts at 10th April 2024 (AEST) at 8am and closes at 11:59pm(AEST) on 24th April 2024 (Promotion Period).
During the Promotion Period, all Eligible Entrants who submit a design for Step One underwear during the Promotion Period at the website at https://stepone.life/design to submit an entry. The Managing Director of Step One will pick his favourite 20 designs from Eligible Entrants (Successful Entrants).
The designs of each of the Successful Entrants will be displayed on the official Facebook page and Instagram page of Step One and voted on by the general public through voting in the comments section. The design with the highest number of votes at the end of the Promotion Period will win the prize.
The total prize value is AUD$5,000.00 cash (Prize Value).
The prize winner will be contacted in writing via private message on Facebook or Instagram. Entries will be judged at Step One on 26th of April 2024 and the prize winner will be announced on the official Step One Facebook and Instagram page via the original Promotion post. Names of winners are available from Step One upon request up to one month after the closing date by sending an email to info@stepone.life
The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
Failure to claim a prize by the time (or if no time is specified, within 28 days from the Promotion closing date) will make any claim invalid. Step One shall then be entitled to withdraw that entrant’s right to the prize and select an alternative winner.
Step One accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted, illegible or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to omission, error, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, disruption to any communication network or medium, or otherwise including those entries not received by Step One for any reason. Step One is not liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred. No correspondence will be entered into.
To the extent permitted by law, Step One excludes all warranties, representations or guarantees (Warranties) regarding the Promotion, including any Warranties which may have been made in the course of advertising or promoting the Promotion. The conduct of the Promotion may involve third parties, and Step One makes no Warranties and disclaims all liability in connection with any such third parties, their acts or omissions. By entering the Promotion, an Eligible Entrant releases and indemnifies Step One and its related bodies corporate (including the officers, employees and agents of each) (to the extent permitted by law)) from and against all actions, penalties, liabilities, claims or demands the Eligible Entrant may have against Step One or that Step One may incur for any loss or damage which is suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an Eligible Entrant entering or participating in the Promotion, or winning or failing to win a prize.
Without limiting any of the foregoing, in no circumstances will an Eligible Entrant or Step One have any liability to the other for any loss or damage suffered which is indirect or consequential in nature, including without limitation any loss of profit, loss of reputation, loss of goodwill, or loss of business opportunity.
Step One may, in its absolute discretion, not accept a particular entry, may disqualify an entry, or cancel the entire Promotion at any time without giving reasons and without liability to any Eligible Entrants, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Without limiting this, Step One reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and Eligible Entrants and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who submits an entry that is misleading or not in accordance with these Terms, or who manipulates or tampers with the entry process.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Step One’s ability (or that of a third party involved with the Promotion) to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these Terms, including but not limited to vandalism, pandemic, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, Step One’s obligations in respect of the Promotion will be suspended for the duration of the event and, in addition, Step One may in its absolute discretion cancel the Promotion and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to approval of or any written directions from a relevant regulatory authorities.
All entries become the property of Step One. As a condition of entering into this Promotion, Entrants agree to assign all their rights in and to their entry, any related content and their designs to Step One, including any copyright or other intellectual property rights in the entry, designs and related content. Without limiting this, Step One may use entry content and the designs for any and all purposes including commercial purposes. You warrant that entry content is original, lawful and not misleading and that Step One’s use of such content will not infringe the rights of any third parties. Step One has no obligation to credit you as the author of any content submitted and may otherwise do any acts or omissions which would otherwise constitute an infringement of any moral rights you may have as an author of content.
Eligible Entrants consent to Step One using the personal information provided in connection with this Promotion for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Promotion and awarding any prizes, including to third parties involved in the Promotion and any relevant authorities. In addition to any use that may be outlined in Step One’s Privacy Policy, Step One including third parties may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Eligible Entrant.
The collection and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this Promotion will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy, which adheres to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles.
