For over 70 years, Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap has kept millions of people from every corner of the globe on the edge of their seats. Directed by Australian theatre icon Robyn Nevin, this new Australian production, in its only Tasmanian season, is the major theatre event of the year.

Terms & Conditions:

1. The Promoters are The Royal Automobile Club of Tasmania Limited (ABN 62 009 475 861) of 179 Murray Street, Hobart, TAS 7000 and The Theatre Royal, Hobart of 29 Campbell Street, Hobart, TAS 7001.

2. Information on how to enter and eligibility to be entered into the draw and prize details form part of the conditions.

3. The competition opens at 12:00am Wednesday 10 April 2024 and closes at 11:59pm Wednesday 1 May 2024 (“Promotion Period”) with a total of one individual winner.

4. Entry is open to current RACT financial members who fill out the form during the Promotion Period.

5. For an entry to be valid the form must be completed.

6. Entry is restricted to current RACT financial members aged 18 years and over at the time of entry who reside in the State of Tasmania.

7. Employees of the promoter and those companies in which it has an equity interest and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.

8. Participants who fulfil the entry conditions will be automatically entered into the draw and by completing the entry conditions the Participant accepts these terms and conditions.

9. The prize pool consists of one VIP package which includes two (2) premium tickets to The Mousetrap on Saturday 15 June 2024 for either the 2pm (matinee) or 7pm (evening) show, one (1) wine and cheese box for two on arrival, special post-show photo opportunity with the cast, one night stay in the Nightingale Suite at Hadley's Orient Hotel on Saturday 15 June 2024 including breakfast for two on the morning of Sunday 16 June 2024 and complimentary CBD parking for 24 hours in conjuction with your stay, Traditional Afternoon Tea for two served in the Atrium at Hadley's (available either Saturday 15 June 2024 or Sunday 16 June 2024)

10. The prize winner will be randomly drawn on Thursday 2 May 2024 at 12:00pm at RACT House, 179-181 Murray Street, Hobart TAS 7000.

11. The prize winner will be contacted by email within 48 hours of the draw by the Business Development Manager at the Theatre Royal with details on redeeming the prize package.

12. Prize winners name will be published on the RACT website. Eligible Participants consent to this publication as a condition of entry.

13. The winner cannot nominate a third party to collect the prize package on their behalf.

14. Should the prize winner decide to accept the prize they must, at the promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prizes, free of charge, and consent to the promoter using their names and images in promotional material (which may include publication within Journeys magazine and/or on the RACT website and social media pages or the Theatre Royal website and social media pages).

15. In the event of the prize being refused, not accepted or not claimed within one (1) week (i.e. by 11:59pm Thursday 9 May 2024) of the winner being notified, the draw will be declared null and void and a further draw will be arranged.

16. The prizes or any unused portion of the prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for an alternative prize or taken as cash.

17. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

18. The Promoter, its contractors, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered or sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), arising out of or in any way connected with the competition and/or its prizes except for liability that cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.

19. The Promoter’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to the competition and no correspondence will be entered into with respect to those decisions.
