Terms and Conditions
1. The Promoter and Radio Station is 97.3 Fm, 444 Logan Road, Stones Corner, QLD, 4120.
2. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Any general competition rules or terms and conditions of the Radio Station do not apply to this Promotion.
3. Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions is invalid.

Entry is open to residents of QLD. Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from their parent or legal guardian to enter the Promotion. Employees or contractors of the Promoter or its associated companies, employees or contractors of any agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors or representatives of the Promoter and the immediate families of any such employees or contractors are not eligible to enter. Any person who has won one or more prizes valued individually or collectively at more than $100 from the Promoter or the Radio Station in any promotion within the past 30 days is ineligible to enter.
5. The Promotion commences with a Pre-promote Period from Monday 9 August 2010 and then moves into the Active Promotion Period from 8am AEST Monday 16 August 2010 and concludes 4pm AEST Friday 3 September 2010.
6. To enter, listen to the Radio Station between 8am – 4pm AEST (“Promotion Hours”) on each weekday of the Active Promotion Period. There will be 8 chances to play each day.
7. Listeners will be invited to call the competition line on (07) 3233 0973 for their chance to play. The nominated caller through will then listen to a montage of small snippets of 5 different songs. The montage will only be played once each during each contest segment and then the listener will need to correctly identify all 5 songs by title and artist, in the correct order, to win the cash prize.
8. The cash prize will start at $1,000 and will increase by $100 increments each hour that the promotion continues without anyone correctly guessing the 5 songs.
9. Once the cash amount exceeds $2,000 our Breakfast Announcers will begin to give clues during the hours of 5:30am – 9:00am each weekday.
10. As soon as someone correctly identifies the 5 songs by title and artist in the correct order they will win the current cash amount. In the next active Promotion Hour we will introduce a new montage of 5 new songs and will start the cash prize amount at $1,000 again. This will continue until the end of the Active Promotion Period or until $24,000 has been given away, whichever occurs first.
11. The total maximum value of all cash prizes on offer during the Active Promotion Period is $24,000.
12. The cost of the call to the competition line will not exceed 55 cents, including GST.
13. Entrants may enter the Promotion as many times as they like. Any form of automated entry using any other devices or software is invalid. The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and may disqualify any entrant.
14. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt by the Promoter. The Promoter is not responsible for failure to receive any entry for any cause beyond its control.
15. Winners of a cash prize will be notified by telephone (on air) and by mail. Winners’ details may also appear on the website of the Radio Station at
www.973fm.com.au.

16. Prizes will be distributed in the form of a cheque made out to the Winner. This process can take up to 42 days. Winner will be notified when their cheque is ready to be collected from 444 Logan Road, Stones Corner during office hours – photo identification is required to be presented at time of collection.
17. Upon request by the Promoter a copy of these Terms and Conditions and/or a receipt and acknowledgement must be signed by a winner to indicate his or her acceptance of the Terms and Conditions.
18. If a winner is under the age of 18 years, they must have permission from their parent or legal guardian to claim their prize.
19. The Promoter may use a winner’s name, suburb of residence, likeness, or a recording of their voice for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
20. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss or damage, or personal injury suffered during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
21. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy which can be viewed at the website of the Radio Station at

22. All decisions made by the Promoter are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. If the Promotion is not able to be run as planned, whether caused by computer virus, line drop-out or congestion, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the Promotion, the Promoter may cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. The Promoter may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
