MANNIX COMPLETE SEASON ONE

Shock DVD / Region 4 / Released August 11, 2010

Mannix, a much revered action based detective crime drama from the late 1960's gets a very welcome DVD release this month and thanks to the rather lovely people at Shock DVD we have five copies up for grabs!

Played by the tough Mike Connors, Joe Mannix is a private detective working for Inertect and despite the fact that he is working for a large company he definitely likes to do things his own way much to the chagrin of his boss Lew Wickersham (played by Joseph Campanella). Created by Richard Levinson and William Link, who would go on to create Columbo and Murder She Wrote amongst others, Mannix is high quality indeed. Guest stars in this first season include Tom Skerritt, Karen Black and Neil Diamond of all people!

Considered to be pretty full on when it came to fisti-cuffs and the likes Mannix stands up incredibly well today. This set features every episode from the first season and for fans of classic TV is nigh on essential.

Our competition runs until September 5, 2010. To be in with a chance to win one of the dvds all you have to do is tell us who plays secretary Peggy Fair in this season? Also don't forget about our rather splendid daily newsletter. If you haven't signed up for this yet then what are you waiting for, a daily hit of all the latest stories, comps, reviews, features and news happening in the world of Memorable TV.

Entries must be sent to competition@memorabletv.com and must be titled "Mannix Season One". Good Luck!
