Home of Cricket Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Entry is available to customers that have spent AU$100.00 or more in any SportsPower store on the cricket product, then completing their details on the
www.sportspower.com.au website.
2. Entry is open to all Australian residents only. Employees and their immediate families of The Promoter, SportsPower and Associated Retailers Limited and their immediate families, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible.
3. The promotion commences on 2/08/2010 at 00:01 (AEDT) and concludes on the 17/10/2010 at 23:59 (AEST).
4. To enter the promotion, participants must first make a purchase of AU$100.00 or greater at any participating SportsPower store within Australia in one transaction during the promotional period to gain an entry form to complete. The participant must then complete all sections of the entry form where indicated via the sportspower.com.au website.
5. Participants may enter every time they spend AU$100.00 or greater in one transaction during the promotional period. Only one entry per transaction will be deemed valid. Transactions must occur during the promotional dates specified.
6. All entries received by each draw date will be eligible for the draw of the major prize and two runner-up prizes.

Slazenger Signed Bat and Compression Pack. No value can be placed on the bat. Compression tank and half tight
valued at $129.98

8. Winners of the Prize Draws will be personally notified by telephone and mail or email.
9. Any unclaimed or un-verified prizes will be awarded during the unclaimed prize draw.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries/claims and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry or claim which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry. Entrants can only enter in their own name using their own home, work or mobile telephone number. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of purchase and residency at their nominated address. Proof considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
11. The winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photograph/s for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own copyright in any such images and photograph/s and in all material incorporating the photograph/s.
12. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt and not at the time of transmission. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries.
13. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to state regulation.
14. If the purchase from any SportsPower store over $100.00 is made on behalf of the entrant’s employer, the entrant may be required to present proof that they have permission to enter from their employer. A signed release will be required by the winner/s employer to confirm eligibility of the winner/s to receive their prize.
15. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
16. Should any of the prizes remain unclaimed; an unclaimed prize draw will take place at 12pm (AEST) on 31/10/2010 at held at Associated Retailers Limited, 169 Burnley Street, Richmond Vic 3121. If the unclaimed prize consists of an event that has passed, the winner of the unclaimed prize draw will receive a prize of equivalent value, at the absolute discretion of the Promoter, subject to State Regulation. Any winners will be notified in writing and by telephone.
17. Prizes will only be delivered in Australia and winners should allow 28 days from prize draw for delivery of their prize.
18. The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the Prize. Prize values are GST inclusive and are in Australian dollars and are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
19. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
21. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
22. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner (and companions) to take part in any or all aspects of a prize, if the Promoter determines, in its absolute discretion, that a winner (and/or companions) are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate.
23. The winner should look to the manufacturer of products awarded as prizes for all warranties. However, these terms and conditions do not exclude or limit the application of any statutory provision (including a provision of the Trade Practices Act 1974) where to do so would contravene that statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void.
24. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
25. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
26. In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which naturally changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to State Regulation.
27. All entries become the property of The Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and The Promoter may use the entrant’s names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid unless otherwise advised by the entrant. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they allow their details to be used for this purpose. If entrants do not consent to their details being used for future marketing purposes, the entrant should contact The Promoter on their details set out below. Any request to update, modify or delete the entrant’s details should be directed to The Promoter.
