TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. Information on how to register, participate and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. This event is open to all persons aged 18 years and over who intend on participating in the Closest Stiletto Relay taking place in Sydney on 28th September 2010. 2. To register, simply go online to

Gillette Venus Embrace along with Cosmopolitan, Cleo, Madison, Shop Til You Drop, NW, OK! and Woman’s Day will attempt to break the Guinness World Record by having the fastest 4x100m relay in high heels. 4. The event will be held at 8am AEDST September 28th 2010 at Overseas Passenger Terminal, Sydney. Registrations open online at 12.01am on 2nd August 2010 and close at 2.00pm on September 27th 2010. Registrations open in person at the event between 08:00am - 09:00am on September 28th 2010. The definition of record for this event is the fastest high heeled (stiletto) relay race over 100m. This is to be attempted by a team of four. Measurement value: time – in minutes and seconds to the nearest 100th of a second. The first 324 valid entrees received before this time period will be expected to participate in the Closest Stiletto Relay. Multiple registrations are not permitted; each registrant can only register for themselves. Each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements. 5. By registering to participate in the event, each registrant warrants to the Promoter that they are willing and able to participate in the Closest Stiletto Relay as outlined in these terms and conditions of entry and by the rules and regulations stipulated on the day of the event. 6. The record attempt will take place on a pre-measured flat track or path at the venue stated by the Promoter on the page of the registration. As required by the Guinness Book of World Records, the length of the course for each team member to run must be exactly 100m (328 ft) and accurately measured prior to the start of the record attempt by someone appropriately qualified such as a professional surveyor. Each of the four team members must run 100m in high heels, and the clock stops when the fourth member of the relay team crosses the line marking the end of the one 100m distance. Participants may not cross into another lane during the attempt. Each individual 100m time must be recorded accurately. A baton must be passed between each member of the relay team, the handover of which is subject to the rules set out by the International Amateur Athletics Federation (IAAF). Each participant may run only once. The members of the team may run in any order they choose, but this must be made known before the race begins. 7. By registering to participate in this event, the registrant acknowledges that participation in the Closest Stiletto Relay, is done at the risk of the registrant. The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of taking part in this promotion and/or event. All participants to this record attempt must wear high heeled stiletto shoes. The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to supply the bib and shorts in the size stipulated in the registrants registration, while stocks permit. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the sizing stipulated is unavailable at the time of the event, the Promoter will supply the bib and shorts in the next sizing available closest to that stipulated in the registration, while stocks permit. 8. Participants should wear stilettos. The term "stiletto" refers to a type of shoe heel that is pointy, thin and high. The shoe should raise the heel of the wearer's foot significantly higher than the toes. The shoes heels must be at least 7 centimetres (2.75 inches) high and no more than 1.5 centimetres (0.6 inches) wide at the tip. Platform shoes are not permitted. It is the responsibility of each registrant to provide their own stiletto shoes to wear for the Closest Stiletto Relay. 9. This event is open to participants of both sexes so long as the persons participating are abiding by the rules and guidelines of the Closest Stiletto Relay. 10. It is a condition of participation that the registrants complete all documentation (including but not limited to legal release) as provided by the Promoter at the time leading up to the event starting. Form of documentation provided is determined at the complete discretion of the Promoter. 11. To count towards a participant in the Closest Stiletto Relay (and be included in the final count towards breaking the Guinness Book of World Records), participants actually have to complete the 100 metre route as part of a four team member relay on the that date.. 12. The winning team of the Closest Stiletto Relay will receive $10,000 divided equally amongst the four team members in the form of $2,500 cheque for each winning team member. First prize valued at $10,000 in total. 13. Second prize includes $200 Peep Toe voucher for each team member. Second prize valued at $800 in total. 14. Third prize includes $100 Peep Toe shoe voucher for each team member. Third prize is valued at $400. 15. Total Prize pool is valued at up to $ $11,200 16. For the removal of doubt – the first team who completes the Closest Stiletto Relay according to the rules, will be deemed to be the winning team. In the event that two teams cross the finish line at the same time, a panel of judges as appointed by the Promoter will determine which team will be deemed the overall winner. Cash prize will be awarded in the form of a cheque made in favour of the winner. Prizes valued in Australian dollars. Prize values mentioned are the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at time of printing. In the event that a prize or component of a prize is awarded in the form of a voucher, any costs in excess of the value of the voucher (including GST) and all ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are the responsibility of the winner. In the event that the cost of items purchase using the voucher is less than the value of the voucher, the balance of the value of the voucher will not be awarded as cash. The Promoter shall not be liable for any voucher that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of the voucher is subject to any terms and conditions specified on the voucher. Redemption of prize is subject to the normal business guidelines of Peep Toe Shoes. Prize and any unused portion of the voucher prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 17. Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the prize provider. 18. ACP Magazines Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage suffered during the event and race. ACP Magaziners Ltd will ensure basic First Aid services are available to all contestants during the race but all participants take part at their own risk. 19. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a prize winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited by the prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize or that element of the prize. 20. In the event that the prize, or part of the prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of the prize in its discretion with an alternative prize or part of the prize to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various Lottery Departments. 21. Registration does not include transport to and from the Closest Stiletto Relay and all other ancillary costs associated with participating in this promotion. These are the responsibility of the winner. 22. The Promoters reserve the right to refuse to allow the winner to take part in any or all aspects of the promotion, if the Promoters determines, in their absolute discretion, that the winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to safely undergo the Closest Stiletto Relay. 23. The Promoters are neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damaged suffered in the event that the scheduled Closest Stiletto Relay is postponed, rescheduled, cancelled or relocated for any reason whatsoever. 24. The winner will be notified and announced at the event when the race is finished. Prizes will be distributed within two months of the completion of the event via post. 25. The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of registrations and registrants (including but not limited to an registrants identity, age, place of residence) and to disqualify any registrant for tampering with the registration process or for submitting an registration which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
