Get Lucky With Lehmo
Competition overview
This overview forms part of the general Terms and Conditions for “Get Lucky With Lehmo” (competition). The promoter is the Australian Radio Network. “Get Lucky With Lehmo” will air on Mix101.1 Melbourne.
Please note: Intralot Australia Pty Ltd is not a participant in or promoter of this competition.
Listeners will be invited to participate in “Get Lucky With Lehmo”, by entering their details online at
www.mix1011.com.aufrom 9am Monday 16th August 2010 until 5pm Wednesday 1st September 2010. Entrants will have to register in 25 words or less “Why Do You Deserve To Get Lucky With Lehmo”. Finalists will be chosen based on the creativity of their answer. There will be 10 x finalists in total who will be selected off air between 9am Tuesday 17th August 2010 and 6pm Wednesday 1st September 2010. Entrants will also need to acknowledge that they are over the age of 18.
All finalists will receive a double pass (one for themselves and one for a friend, both over the age of 18) to attend a night out with Lehmo, on Friday 3rd September 2010 at a venue and time to be decided. The venue and time will be decided by Mix101.1, and this decision is final.
Based on creativity Lehmo will then select the top 3 finalists from the night, and award them with points – starting with the top finalist, who will receive 3 points. The runner up will then receive 2 points, and the 3rd place will receive 1 point. The finalist with 3 points will be deemed to be “the best on ground” and will be awarded a family trip to Queensland. This will be judged by Lehmo and Mix101.1 and this decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The major winner will win a family trip (consisting of 2 adults and 2 children) to Queensland, which will be awarded as a $3,500 Flight Centre gift voucher. The voucher cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and is non refundable. The major winner will need to abide by the terms and conditions of the voucher, as set out by Flight Centre, and will be required to sign a waiver form before they can collect their prize. They will need to provide all of the details of those travelling with them, and these details will also need to be set out on the waiver form.
General
The Australian Radio Network’s (ARN) “Get Lucky With Lehmo”(Competition) begins at 9am Monday 16thAugust 2010 and ends 5pm Wednesday 1stSeptember 2010, subject to changes made necessary as a result of Victorian Legislation unless extended or withdrawn earlier by ARN in its absolute discretion and will be broadcast on Mix101.1 Melbourne.

ENTRY DETAILS
Participants will be invited to enter by logging onto
www.mix1011.com.auand registering their details, as well as entering in 25 words or less “Why Do You Deserve To Get Lucky With Lehmo”. 10 x finalists will be selected based on the creativity of their answer. 1 x major winner will be selected from these finalists.

Participants are not limited in the attempts at entry, however any form of automated entry using any other devices or software (not previously specified) is invalid.
2.
The major winner will be awarded their prize on air and must take their prize in accordance with the terms and conditions set out as part of entry of this competition, and as the terms and conditions set out by Flight Centre. They will be handed a winner’s letter, along with the physical prize at the time of collection. The winner will be contacted by phone and mail to collect their prize from the ARN Studios at Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, RICHMOND 3121 from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
3.
All entrants and participants must be aged 18 years or over, and must acknowledge this when registering their entry.

The major winner will have their name published in the Herald Sun on Friday 10thSeptember 2010.

The 10 x finalists will be selected between 9am Tuesday 17thAugust 2010 and 6pm Wednesday 1stSeptember 2010 at the Mix101.1 Studios – Level 2, 21-31 Goodwood Street, Richmond 3121.

By participating in this Competition, all entrants agree to be bound by the terms of the Competition Rules.

THE COMPETITION PROCESS

The competition consists of 1 segment
1.
Selection of participants as detailed in section 1 of these Terms and Conditions
There will be 9 x minor prizes awarded (double passes to a night out with Lehmo) and 1 x major prize awarded for Mix101.1’s Get Lucky With Lehmo promotion.
*
The prizes awarded to winners in Victoria consist of:
1.
The major prize consists of 1 x Flight Centre gift voucher to the value of $3,500, 1 x double pass to a night out with Lehmo as decided by Mix101.1.
2.
The minor prize consists of 1 x double pass to a night out with Lehmo event. There are 9 x double pass to be awarded in total.
3.
The winner is expected to cover any costs which arise over and above what has been specified above.
The total prize pool has a value of $6,500 based on retail values.
The prize value is accurate as at the promotion date. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value after that date. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable. If for any reason the prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
Mix101.1 its associated agencies and companies shall not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss), damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (including but not limited to that arising from any person's negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/s, except for any liability which cannot be excluded bylaw (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law)The decision of ARN will be final and conclusive and no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.
Any person who has won one or more prizes with a total value of more than $1,000 from the Promoter, or any radio station owned by the Promoter (including any of the Radio Stations), in any promotion within 30 days of the commencement date of this Promotion is ineligible to enter.

ARN, its employees and their families and its agencies, affiliates, sponsors, sub-sponsors, representatives and their families are not eligible to enter the Competition.

All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the contestants and ARN excludes all warranties in connection with any prize (including representations as to merchantability and fitness for purposes) to the extent permitted by law.

Any special conditions associated with the cash or prizes on offer will be announced during the recording of the Segments. The conditions must be adhered to in order to claim the cash or prize.

ARN, its employees, agencies, affiliates, sponsors and representatives are not responsible for defective prizes or misuse of any prize, or for any claims, liability, loss or damage (whether foreseeable or not) arising out of or in connection with this Competition, whether caused by the negligence of any of the aforementioned or not.

Winners are responsible for any and all taxes payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received.

TECHNICAL MALFUNCTION
*
If due to a technical difficulty with a telephone line, ISDN line, mobile telephone or other technical instrument critical to the broadcast prevents the competition from proceeding; the decision of ARN is absolute and final. No discussion will be entered in to.

ARN’s Decision is Final
*
ARN’s decision in respect of the selection of participants is binding and conclusive and can not be challenged on the grounds that ARN failed to act reasonably, fairly, in good faith or otherwise in accordance with the principles of procedural fairness. ARN’s decision will remain binding and conclusive notwithstanding that it can be demonstrated that ARN made a decision that was wrong, based on a factual error or an irrelevant or irrational consideration. It is not ARN’s policy to enter into negotiations with listeners or that may challenge a decision made by ARN.

Promotional Activities

Each participant acknowledges and agrees that:
1.
he or she may be required by ARN, in its absolute discretion, to:
1.
participate in promotional activities for the benefit of ARN (including participating in a sound recording, photograph, video or film session); and
2.
that he or she will not, without the prior written consent of ARN (which may be given or withheld in its absolute discretion) participate in any other media activities, promotions or events for the purpose of or which involve discussion, commenting on, expressing a view or giving an account of the Competition, ARN, its related bodies corporate or the operations of ARN and its related bodies corporate.
2.
in promotional activities referred to in condition 7.1 (a)(i) and (ii), above, he/she will express a positive view of ARN and its operations and refrain from expressing a negative or disparaging view of ARN, its related bodies corporate or the operations of ARN or its related bodies corporate.

Each participant acknowledges and agrees that ARN has the right to use any materials generated in connection with the Shabby Chef Cookbook in any medium and in any manner it sees fit.

Withdrawal
*
Notwithstanding any other condition of these Competition Rules, ARN reserves the right to withdraw the Competition at any time and for any reason whatsoever with the prior approval of the Victorian Commission For Gambling Regulation, the Department of Gaming and Racing NSW, and the Queensland Office of Gaming and Regulation. ARN shall not be liable in any way or for any consequence of withdrawing the Competition.
