INTHEMIX’S GODSKITCHEN & PIONEER DJ COMPETITION
Terms & Conditions
1. Competition opens on Friday 27th August, 2010. Entrants must submit their original DJ mix to inthemix.com.au by
midnight, Sunday 19th September, 2010.
2. inthemix and Future Entertainment will pick finalists between September 20-21, 2010. Finalists will be announced on
inthemix, Tuesday 21st September, 2010.
3. Entries must be an original mix as an mp3 file at 128kbps no longer than 30 minutes and no larger than 30 megabytes.
4. The entrant must ensure that the mix they enter is entirely their own work. If the mix is found not be the entrants own
work, the entrant will be removed from the competition.
5. Entrants must be Australian residents and aged 18 years or older.
6. Employees (and their immediate families) of the promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this
promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following; spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse,
child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt,
niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
7. State winners must be available to play at the Godskitchen event in their capital city (Fri 1 Oct – Adelaide, Sat 2 Oct –
Brisbane, Sun 3 Oct – Sydney, Fri 8 Oct – Perth and Sat 9 Oct – Melbourne), and the major prize winner must be
available to travel to Melbourne for Godskitchen on Saturday 9th October, 2010.
8. The national winning DJ and a friend will receive return flights from their nearest capital city to Melbourne, two nights
hotel accommodation, tickets to the Godskitchen event and the Pioneer ‘Little Monsta’ DJ setup. State winning DJs will
receive four tickets to the Godskitchen event in their capital city.
9. The winner (and his/her companion) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together.
Itinerary to be determined by inthemix and Future Entertainment in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not
form part of the prize. Flights are non-transferable for money
10. By submitting an entry to this competition, applicants are giving permission for their mix to be streamed on
inthemix.com.au.
11. To be deemed a ‘bedroom banger’ DJ entrants must not be contracted to any management or agency and must not
hold down a permanent residency at any club, bar or venue.
12. Entrants may use vinyl, CD or laptop to compile their mix (Final Scratch, Serato, Traktor & Ableton Live).
13. inthemix and Future Entertainment take no responsibility for any damage or loss of the winner’s property at events.
14. inthemix and Future Entertainment hereby expressly reserve the right to remove any winner and terminate the prize
(and/or his/her companions) for any inappropriate behaviour, including but not limited to intoxication, whilst participating
in any element of the prize.
15. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
16. Entrants consent to inthemix and Future Entertainment using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the
event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same), in any media for an unlimited period
without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition and Godskitchen (including any outcome), and
promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
17. Only one entry/mix may be submitted per person.
18. If the person selected as the winner can’t make it for the event, they must forfeit the prize and it will be redrawn. No
cash replacement.
19. The judge’s decision is final!
