Conditions of entry for the Banner Hardware – Father’s Day 2010 Promotion 1. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.

Entry is open to all residents of Australia aged 18 years or over who satisfy the entry requirements stated in clause 6. 3. The Promoter is Evins Stores PTY. LTD, their respective advertising agencies, retail outlets and staff along with their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
4. Promotion commences 12:01am Monday 23rd August 2010 and
closes 11.59 pm on Sunday 5th September 2010 (promotional period). The winners will be drawn at 1:00pm (AEST) Monday 6th September 2010 at Salmat Interactive Level 17 Innovation Place 100 Arthur Place North Sydney, NSW 2060. Winners will be notified by writing and or phone, The major prize winner will be published in the Public Notices section of The Adelaide Advertiser in the public notices section on Monday 13th September 2010. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. There is 1 wheelbarrow full of tolls valued at $500 per store to be won. Total of 6 barrows with a total prize pool valued at $3,000

To enter, entrants must first purchase a product at a participating Banner Hardware store from the 2010 Banner Hardware Father’s Day Catalogue. Then visit
www.bannerhardware.com.au and follow the instructions to enter their details and purchase details
1. Participants are advised to retain their purchase receipts. Failure to produce any purchase receipt when requested may in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of a participant’s entries and forfeits any right to a prize. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries
7. If a participating product is unavailable, then another participating product must be bought in order to be eligible to enter the competition. The Promoter is not responsible for any product that is unavailable.
8. Entries without the required information as stated in clause 6 will be deemed incomplete and will not count towards an entry into the Promotion.

There is only one entry per eligible receipt (see clause 6). Multiple entries are accepted, however each entry must have its own individual receipt. 10. Any form of automated electronic entry that does not meet the entry requirements as per clause 8 will be deemed invalid and not counted as a valid entry.
11. This is a computerised electronic random draw. Drawn entries will be checked for validity against competition rules of entry as they are drawn. Any entries deemed not valid (as per clause 6) will be discarded and the draw will continue until all prizes are allocated.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes. All prize values are in Australian dollars.
13. Prizes are not transferable.
14. Winners must take the prize as offered. Winners will be required to pick up their prize from the winning retail store.
15. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the prize is for some reason unavailable subject to gaming authority approval.
16. It is the entrant’s responsibility to advise the Promoter of any change of personal details.
17. If a prize is unclaimed, a second draw will be held at 12:00pm (AEDT) on Monday 11th January 2011 at the office of Salmat Interactive Level 17 Innovation Place 100 Arthur Place North Sydney subject to .any written directions given by the relevant state lottery and gaming regulators and names of winners of the second draw will be published in the public notices section of The Australian on Friday 4th February 2011
18. We are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of the competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
19. We are not responsible for lost, late, incomprehensible or incorrect entries in the competition. We also accept no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from prize winnings in the competition. You should seek Independent financial advice about such matters.
20. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other event outside our reasonable control, we are entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition - subject to any written directions from the various regulatory bodies responsible for supervising the conduct of the competition (the Lotteries Departments).
21. If for any reason the competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond our control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, we are entitled in our sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written directions given by the various Lotteries Departments), to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
22. The winners release the Promoter and their related bodies corporate from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses) cost or charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoter, or the prize.
23. By entering this competition you agree to allow Evins Stores and its partners in this promotion to contact you for any future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
24. The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion.
25. Evins Stores PTY LTD collects your information to include you in this competition and will disclose the information to others who help us run the competition. We may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services. We may share your information with other persons or entities that assist us in performing the above or with another company which provides prizes for the competition.
