The always entertaining Jonathan Creek has reached occasional feature length special status these days and this month Madman release the latest story The Judas Tree on DVD and to celebrate we have five copies to give away!
Alan Davies is the titular Jonathan Creek something of a genius who uses his skills as an inventor of magician's illusions to solve incredible mysteries. In The Judas Tree Creek (who lives in an extremely groovy Windmill btw) is partnered with the sceptical Joey Ross (played by Sheridan Smith). The mystery begins when Emily Somerton is accused of murdering the wife of her boss, mystery novelist Hugo Dore - Jonathan though is convinced that Dore's Victorian home holds the key to the mystery.
Written by David Renwick (whose pedigree of classic TV shows goes back 30 years) and guest starring Paul McGann, The Judas Tree is Jonathan Creek at its best and the feature length format really lets the story pace itself perfectly.
