The Suzanne Grae Hairspray Competition 2010

Terms & Conditions

1.     Information on how to enter and about prizes form part of these terms and conditions. Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of these conditions of entry.
 
2.     Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia and New Zealand. Directors, management and employees of the Promoter, the agencies and/or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
 
3.     The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant/s who may tamper with any part of the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry.
 
4.     The promotion commences at 09:00 (AEST) on Monday 25th October 2010 and concludes at 23:59 (AEST) on Sunday 19th December 2010 (“Promotional Period”). Suzanne Grae stores will cease printing the unique entry codes on the bottom of customer receipts as of Sunday 12th December 2010 however customers can still enter the promotion with entry codes received up to this date until Sunday 19th December. No responsibility will be accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
 
5.     To be eligible to enter the promotion consumers are required to spend a minimum of AU$25 or NZ$25 on merchandise at any participating Suzanne Grae store to receive one (1) entry into the promotion. With every $25 spent a new 14 digit entry code will be printed at the bottom of the receipt. Included is a leeway of $0.05, i.e. a consumer spends $24.95 they will receive one (1) entry code; if they spend $49.95 they will receive two (2) entry codes, if they spend $74.95 they will receive three (3) entry codes etc. Customers are then required to log onto www.suzannegrae.com.au (for Australian residents) and www.suzannegrae.co.nz (for New Zealand Residents) and enter their details online including their entry code and the store which they purchased from to receive one (1) entry into the monthly prize draw. If multiple codes are entered the customer will receive multiple entries.

6.     Entrants will be entered into the draw according to the month they enter their details on the promotional website. Eg if a consumer makes a purchase in October and enters their entry code in December, they will be entered into December’s draw.
 
7.     Customers will not qualify to enter into the promotion if purchasing a gift voucher only. No entry code will be printed on the receipt of purchase for gift vouchers. If a customer purchases a $50 gift voucher and a $24.95 garment, they will receive one (1) entry code on the bottom of their receipt of purchase.
 
8.     Staff members may not enter the promotion. Any purchase made with a staff discount card will not have an entry code printed on the bottom of the receipt of purchase.
 
9.     Layby purchases become eligible to participate in the promotion once the layby is finalised.
 
10. There is no daily limit to the amount of entries consumers can make, provided each entry is related to a separate entry code. The Promoter in its absolute discretion may require prize winners to provide proof of purchase in the form of a store receipt for all entries made during the Promotional Period in order to claim their prize.
 
11. All valid entries received by the Promoter each month over the duration of the promotional period will be entered into the draw. The draw will take place at Campaign Master, Level 2, 62-64 Riley Street, East Sydney NSW 2010 on Monday 20th December 2010 at 11am.
 
12. The prize winner will be notified by mail and will have their name published in The Australian on Wednesday 22nd December 2010.
 
13. One (1) major prize winner will receive tickets for 3 family/friends to a premium seating to Hairspray The Musical at The Princess Theatre in Melbourne (4 tickets in total). Two nights accommodation at the Mantra Apartments. One Limousine ride with champagne on the night. The winner and their 3 family/friends will get to go back stage and will receive a autographed programmes for each guest. The winner will also receive a $1000 Suzanne Grae gift voucher or 4 x $250, depending on the individual winner. Airfares are to be concluded but will need to be provided by Susanne Grae.
 
14. Fifty (50) Second Prize winners will each receive a package: Schwarzkopf specially produced “Hairspray” can, Hairspray movie DVD & one Suzanne Grae $50 gift voucher.

15. The total prize pool value for this promotion is $13,257.50
.
 
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable, cannot be taken as cash and cannot be sold to a 3rd party including via eBay.
 
17. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or inconsequential loss) as a result of taking any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
 
18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
 
19. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, caused by the entrant or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
 
20. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from the various lottery departments.
 
21. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner provide proof of age, identity and residency prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
 
22. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this promotion will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
 
23. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrants name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (inc. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
 
24. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes (including to advise you of special sales, specific promotional events and other special offers) without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. The entrant consents to the Promoter using and disclosing their personal information.
 
25. Any personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. The entrant may gain access, update or correct their information by contacting the Promoter on 1800 653 437 (For Australian Residents) & 0800 303 033 (For New Zealand Residents)or at the address below. Entrants’ personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. The information will otherwise not be shared with any other organization. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below.
 
26. In the event that a winner is not contactable, the promoter may conduct such further draws as may be deemed necessary at Campaign Master, Level 2, 62-64 Riley Street, East Sydney NSW 2010, Australia on Monday 21st March at 11:00am (AEST) to distribute any unclaimed prizes. In the event there are any winners they will be notified by email.
 
27. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize/s except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
