The American
George Clooney stars as master assassin Jack (or Edward depending on his alias). When a job in Sweden ends badly Jack retreats to Italy vowing that his next job will be his last. While waiting for a specialist weapon to be built for his last assignment Jack befriends an Italian priest and begins a romance with a local woman Clara. Presented by Universal, The American opens November 11.
