Billabong's 2nd annual Design For Humanity benefit, a celebration of fashion, art and music, will be held on November 24th 2010. Heading to a new location set in the heart of Sydney at Oxford Art factory, the proceeds will benefit UNICEF's Pakistan Children's Appeal.

HOW TO ENTER:

During the promotional period 9am AEDST 5/11/10 to 10am AEDST 22/11/10 participants must sign up to the Billabong Girls Database by visiting www.billabong.com and following the links to fully complete the entry form, including full name, address (including postcode), email address, contact telephone number, age and answer (in 25 words or less) what you would do to change the world.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.

2. Entry is open to all residents of Australia.

3. Promotion commences 9:00am AEDST on 5/11/10. Entries close 10:00am AEDST on 22/11/10 ('Promotional Period'). The entrant's full name, postcode, age and answer to the promotional question must be included for the entry to be valid. Only entries that include the exact information required for entry within the stated limits will be considered. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

4. Only one entry per person is permitted.

5. Winner will be notified by telephone call and email to obtain/confirm winner's name and prize details. If chosen winner does not respond to contact made by Billabong by 4pm AEDST 22/11/10, prize will be forfeited and another winner will not be selected. Winner's name will be announced at www.billabong.com by 30/11/10.

6. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

7. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Unrecognised promotional codes will not be accepted.

8. The best entry, as determined by the judges in their absolute discretion, will win the major prize of:

1. Return economy airfares from the Finalist's nearest capital city for the Finalist and one guest. If the Finalist is under 18 years of age, their guest must be a parent or guardian over 18 years of age. Maximum value = $800.
2. 1 night accommodation (one bedroom suite) for night of Event Approx. value= $250.
3. VIP ticket with backstage access for Finalist and guest to Event. Approx. value = $200.
Total prize value: approximately $1,250

9. The Promoter will contact the winner to determine the winner's preferred size (subject to availability) in order to award the prize. Design will be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.

10. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

12. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

13. Total prize pool value is approximately $1,250. The value of the prize is accurate and based upon the recommended retail prices of the prizes at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize after that date. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

14. If the winner of any prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.

15. In the event that any prize, or part of any prize, is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or part of prize in its discretion to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification subject to any written directions from the various Lottery Departments.

16. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit (with their literary piece) being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages and/or telephoning the entrant. All personal details of the entrants will be stored at the office of the Promoter. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to those offices (it may also be necessary to contact the sponsors and agencies associated with this promotion at their respective offices to access, update or correct any information shared by the Promoter).

17. Entrants, in the event they are a winner, consent to the Promoter using their entry, name, likeness, image and/or voice (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

18. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.

19. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

20. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.

21. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone user or website user or for any problems or technical malfunction of any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, including but not limited to any telephone network or communications lines, mobile or satellite network, computer on line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this competition.

22. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the "VIP Design For Humanity competition" database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant.

23. Any costs associated with accessing the www.billabong.com website is the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.

24. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.

25. All contact details entered incorrectly shall be deemed invalid.

26. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
