According to Leith Thomas: "Gone is the feeling of having a nail methodically tapped into your skull" when listening to My Disco's latest album, Little Joy. Leith's skull must be slightly tender because he's been friends with the band's bassist, Liam for yonkers, and has spent a lot of time close to the My Disco speakers. Current fans have nothing to fear, the band hasn't lost its rhythm or repetition, but Little Joy does extend beyond post-punk to tap a wider range of influences. The album is a force in itself, but nothing beats this band live. You know what to do.
