1/2 Field Notes prize packsNormally, I guffaw at design-o-philes that salivate over a beveled font or get weak-kneed upon encountering a well-defined graphic. But Field Notes make products that get me all... gooey.
A colab between Coudal Partners and Draplin Design Co., Field Notes aim to preserve the vanishing subgenres of memo books, pocket ledgers, and "the simple, unassuming beauty of a well-crafted grocery list". These design geeks are real GEEKS - they regularly film new ranges being printed (geeks!!). The goal of preserving old school Americana extends to clever note pad varieties, like the mammoth County Fair series. Printed in the colours of county fair ribbons, they have state facts in the back of 50 state-specific varieties. Golly!
It's cool that your mobile phone can see through walls and download an elephant, but Field Notes memo pads come with a ruler in the back and a list of practical applications, like "shady transactions", and "escape routes". We have two Field Notes prize packs to giveaway consisting of two 3-packs of graph paper memo books, a Clic Pen, a No.2 Woodgrain Pencil, and an ever-handy Band of Rubber. To enter, just answer the following question.
This week's question:

b) draw ugly people on the bus
c) draw beautiful people on the bus
