Welcome Summer is back for 2011 on New Year's Day with special guest BOB SINCLAR. The event takes place at Fashion Week's home ground (Peninsula, in Shed 14 on Central Pier, Docklands).
In 2009, Welcome Summer was the 'new kid on the block' in the boutique event market. Inthemix.com.au described the party as a "stylishly savvy, well thought out event" and the Welcome Summer crowd as "sophisticated and savoir faire".
As a DJ of global repute and the star of clubs around the world, Bob Sinclar is the perfect act with whom to welcome the summer. Having dazzled dance floors with songs such as ‘I feel for you’ and ‘Gym tonic’, Sinclar’s meteoric rise was completed by the release of hits including ‘Love generation’, ‘World hold on’ and ‘Rock this party’.
